DepEd releases DO 11, s. 2026 or the Revised Guidelines on the Implementation of Expanded Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education (E-GASTPE) in the Department of Education. The DO harmonizes and updates existing policies governing the implementation of the Educational Service Contracting (ESC), Teachers' Salary Subsidy (TSS), and Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP).

After earning first place in both the Division Schools Press Conference 2026 (DSPC) and Regional Schools Press Conference 2026 (RSPC), Juliana Cassandra Marie A. Andrade brought her journey to the national stage at the National Schools Press Conference 2026 in Ormoc City, Leyte, held last April 13–18, 2026.

More than a competition, her NSPC stint became a celebration of passion and purpose—where every word written and every idea expressed reflected the excellence honed within The Horizon and the values upheld by IDC-BED. Carrying with her the pride of Region VI, Andrade stood as a quiet, yet powerful reminder of how far dedication can go when guided by discipline and heart.

In her stride, she leaves behind more than an achievement—she leaves a story that inspires. A story that speaks to every aspiring campus journalist: that beginnings in the classroom can grow into voices heard on the national stage. We celebrate not just her success, but the journey that made it meaningful.
