Last March 15, we took a deeper look into the roots of smoking addiction through Mind Over Smoke โ a powerful and eye-opening session that explored the psychological and spiritual dimensions of smoking behavior.
With valuable insights from esteemed addiction psychiatrist Dr. Ruel Malata of WVSU Medical Center, participants learned about the mental, emotional, and even spiritual struggles that fuel ni****ne dependence โ and more importantly, how to break free from it.
By addressing not just the behavior but the person behind it, we empower change that lasts. Because true wellness is not just physical โ it's mental, emotional, and spiritual too.

Kalipay, sorpresa, kag suporta para sa mas himsog nga pangabuhi!
Our community gathered not just for fun โ but for purpose. Our raffle was never rigid, but every other weekend, surprise purposeful items could be received by anyone! From toys and school supplies to kids, and random housewares and food for the adults of Calubihan, yet the true reward was the excitement and consistent attendance of Calubihan residents, encouraging everyone to join in the healthier, smoke-free living.
Simple yet meaningful, this activity reminded us that making better choices โ like saying no to smoking โ can lead to rewarding outcomes, not just in prizes but in life.

On March 22, the children of Calubihan enjoyed a day full of laughter and movement through Larong Pinoy โ fun, active, and traditional games that brought life to our small community space.
Beyond the joy and energy, these activities give our youth a better choice โ spending time in proactive, healthy fun instead of risky habits like smoking. When we fill their time with meaningful play and positive interaction, we help protect them from the influence of peer pressure and unhealthy behaviors.
Letโs continue creating safe spaces for play and growth โ para sa batang malusog, masaya, at malayo sa buga!

Last March 22, our community gathered for Hulag Para Iwas Buga! โ a Zumba-inspired dance activity led by our active Kagawad! ๐ถ Designed to fit even small spaces, this fun and energetic session encouraged everyone to move more and live better.
More than just exercise, this activity promotes a healthier lifestyle that helps reduce harmful habits like smoking. Regular physical activity can lessen stress, improve mood, and reduce the urge to smoke โ a powerful step towards iwas buga at iwas sakit!
