Miagao National High School proudly celebrated National Tech-Voc Day on August 22, 2024, coinciding with its 24th Foundation Day Anniversary. This year’s theme, “Tech-Voc Tungo sa Pag-unlad at Pagbangon; Angking Talino at Kakayahan, Linangin at Isulong,” emphasized the importance of technical and vocational education as a pathway to progress and resilience.The festivities included a variety of engaging activities designed to highlight the skills and talents of the students. The event kicked off with a bustling Tech-Voc Food Bazaar, where students in the culinary program showcased their innovative dishes, offering a delightful array of flavors and culinary techniques to attendees. The bazaar not only served as a platform for students to demonstrate their culinary skills but also aimed to promote entrepreneurship among young chefs.In addition to the food bazaar, the school hosted the STVEP (Special Technical Vocational Education Program) Exhibits, where students displayed their creative projects and practical applications of their vocational training. This exhibit highlighted the diverse skill sets being cultivated at the school and underscored the significance of technical education in today's job market.The day’s highlight was undoubtedly the Skills Contest, which featured several competitions that allowed students to shine and exhibit their expertise in various fields. The contests included:

Experimental Chicken Dish: Culinary students prepared unique chicken dishes that showcased their creativity and culinary techniques.

Skirt Making: Aspiring fashion designers demonstrated their sewing and design skills by crafting stylish skirts.

Table Making: Participants showcased their woodworking abilities by constructing functional and aesthetically pleasing tables.

Nail Art and Fake Nails Contest: Young beauticians displayed their artistic talents with intricate nail art designs.

Installation of AC/DC Power Supply: Tech students tackled electrical challenges, demonstrating their understanding of essential electrical concepts.

Poster Making Contest: Students expressed their creativity through visually striking posters on various themes.

Slogan Making Contest: Participants crafted inspiring slogans that underscored the values of technical education and personal development.
