Due to possible impacts of Tropical Storm Tino that may bring heavy rains, strong winds, and potential flooding in Western Visayas, the CITY GOVERNMENT OF ILOILO is SUSPENDING FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS - PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2025, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

This measure aims to ensure the safety and preparedness of our learners, teachers, and school personnel as the city braces for possible effects of the weather disturbance.

RESIDENTS LIVING IN COASTAL AND LOW-LYING AREAS are advised to coordinate with their respective barangay officials and be ready for PREEMPTIVE EVACUATION, to ensure a smooth and safe movement in case conditions worsen.

Ilonggos are further advised to remain vigilant, monitor official weather updates, and avoid unnecessary travel, especially in flood-prone areas.

Let us continue to prioritize everyone’s safety and work together to keep our communities resilient in the face of this approaching weather disturbance.
