Before we end this day, this school year wouldn’t be complete without our Vince William Salonoy.

Thank you for the laughter and entertainment you brought to Ilawod. From simple jokes to random debates, you never fail to bring a smile. Vince, your laughter was contagious — 10 Ilawod can agree that your jokes, snarky comments, and unserious performances truly became a light that made us laugh, smile, and grin.

A simple moment in NB7 was never simple with you around.

Thank you for being the best es**rt Ilawod could ever have — from going along with our little jokes for the AKWE T-shirt photoshoot and actually having the time of our lives taking photos, to bringing home the Most Photogenic and Best T-shirt Design awards. Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to do it.

Even in the last activity for Hometech 10, you still brought joy with the way you carried yourself and bonded with everyone.

Thank you for being a part of our batch and section, even for a short time. Despite the transient moments Ilawod and Batch 2027 had with you, those moments are endlessly engraved within our hearts. It was fleeting, momentary even, yet your memory will forever be eternal.

We strived, persevered, and now– we are here. 4 years have passed since we stepped foot into this institution (or stepped foot sa gc rather), where values of honor, excellence, and service were upheld. Ngayon, saan na ba tayo tutungo?

Apat na taon, pitumpu't-pitong estyudante, at isang kabuhayang gintong aral. As we end the chapters of junior high school, a new book opens– more chapters to write, each page filled with stories that will make us laugh, annoyed, angry, sad, delighted, and a mix of a million more emotions.

Despite barriers, remote classes or separate classrooms, we were able to close the distance. The shining essence– togetherness.

Ready for a throwback of the rich heritage of the Philippines? As a course requirement for Home Technology 10, last 9 May 2025, Ilawod AY ‘24-‘25 held a Formal Dinner with the theme Pagdiwang ng Gobernador Heneral.

Handa na ba kayo makita ang pagbabalik ng ating 𝐃𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐀 𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐋 na Gobernador Heneral mula sa Espanya para sa matagumpay niya na pagdating sa Pilipinas?👀

Siyang tunay sumakses sa pagkuha ng karangalan, talagang napaslang ng ating mga kapatid, hindi lamang sa kasuotan, ngunit sa (ano gani ang tagalog sang etiquette?) etiketa.

Talagang nagpunyagi ang Ilawod sa kanilang on the spot recitation, kasama si Ginoong Labos. At kasama si Binibini Cabrobias, sila ay nag awrahan sa hapunan. Ngunit, sa huli, lahat ay nakilig sa pagsasama ng ating Gobernador Heneral Palmares at kaniyang esposa na si Binibini Cabrias.

As the final dinner turned out to be a success, we would like to thank each member of Ilawod for the effort exerted—from the preparation to the formal dinner itself. Although the class suspension limited a more hands-on preparation, each committee did a great job with their tasks.

A special thank you to CASA Maruja by: Montejo Resto Bar for providing us a venue that truly captured the essence of our theme. We are grateful for the services that you have given us and for the delicious food served. Madamo gid nga salamat sa inyo nga pinakanami nga accomodation kag sa inyo oras mag sabat sang amon nga mga pamangkot. Overall, hindi gid maging muni kanami ang amon nga event kung waay ang inyo nga bulig. Sa liwat, thank you very much!

Stress sa exams, stress sa feelings—ano mas budlay inchindihon? 😓 Bisan hell week na, may isa pa ka equation nga di masolve: “Ano gid man ta bala?” 😵‍💫

It’s officially the start of hell week, and the pressure is on. With exams happening on March 12-14, late-night cramming, endless notes, and the constant battle between “review or rest?”—yup, we’re deep into it. The struggle is real, but so is the goal: to survive and conquer. Review well, drink your coffee, and let’s get through this together! ☕📚

At the end of the day, your best is always enough. Keep going, trust yourself, and take things one step at a time. We got this, exam warriors! Padayon! 💪✨
