The ICCC ISKO Performing Arts, participated in the 2nd Saot Ilonggo Folk Dance Festival last August 21, 2025, which aims to promote and preserve Ilonggo folk dance traditions. The event was held at the West Visayas State University Cultural Center where they performed La Jota San Joaquiña .

On behalf of ISKO Performing Arts of ICCC, we extend our sincerest gratitude to IFFI—Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Incorporated, and to Doc Ramil Huyatid for inviting us to participate in the 2nd SAOT Ilonggo Seminar Workshop. The sessions on costuming for Philippine folk dances, transforming research/text into creative work, the rudiments of dance research, transcribing dance movements into written instruction, and the rudiments of music and Ilonggo folksong composition were invaluable and significantly enriched our understanding and skills. We are deeply grateful for this enriching experience.

My dearest ISKO dancers, performers, and graduating members;
Seeing you all in your togas earlier brought tears to my eyes. I truly wish I could have been there for your entire hooding ceremony and graduation day, to witness you receive your diplomas, medals, and awards. My heart aches that I couldn't be there to share this momentous occasion with you. Since I have important errands later same date and time. The Launching of SAOT ILONGGO
Today marks not an end, but a beautiful beginning. You are now officially alumni of our Performing Arts program, and I am immensely proud of each and every one of you. The dedication, passion, and talent you've shown throughout your time with ISKO have been nothing short of inspiring. You've not only honed your skills as dancers and performers, but you've also grown into exceptional leaders.
The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle.
Graduates this speaks volumes about the journey you've undertaken. Your passion for dance hasn't just been a hobby; it's been a driving force, a source of joy, and a testament to your unwavering commitment.
