Category D learners or Grade 10 completers who are ESC grantees are automatically eligible to participate in the SHS Voucher Program and are not required to submit the Notarized Affidavit of Financial Capacity and proof of financial capacity. Please read the announcement on the documentary requirements to be submitted by Category D learners upon application to participating private senior high schools.

The PEAC strongly urges the immediate approval of the Basic Education Voucher Program Act that will be critical in strengthening access to quality education and ensuring the continuity of government assistance for millions of Filipino learners, most especially the expansion of the subsidy program to include K-6 learners.

The PEAC has consistently supported the proposed legislation and emphasized the importance of sustaining policy direction, preserving implementation continuity, and ensuring institutional stability that will contribute to the long-term success of the program.

The Department of Education (DepEd) is set to release the policies and guidelines on the Budget of Work for the K–12 Curriculum within the first two weeks of April 2026, which aims to align instructional plans with the three-term school calendar.

To provide pedagogical and administrative support to private schools, the PEAC in its In-Service Training (INSET) program for K–12 teachers this summer will address the implementation of the three-term school calendar.
