With bright smiles and eager participation, the outreach program “𝐊𝐅𝐂 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟐: 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐲𝐚! 🫧” was successfully conducted on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, by the 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐒𝐒 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥á𝐛-𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝙐𝙨𝙬𝙖𝙜 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙧𝙤 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙞𝙣 𝙅𝙖𝙧𝙤, 𝙄𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮. The initiative aimed to support Grade 5–6 students by 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙮𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙛𝙪𝙣 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙮𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙩𝙨. ✨🪥

During the outreach, volunteers led interactive discussions and demonstrations on the 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 👐, 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲🪥, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲. The learners actively participated, making the session both 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Hygiene kits containing soap, sanitizer, toothbrushes, and toothpaste were also distributed to help students apply these practices in their daily routines.

“𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐲𝐚” 🫧 was more than just an outreach event. It was a powerful reminder that 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 🌱🤝

🇵🇭 𝐄𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟔: 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑

For four days, 𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞.💪

From February 22 to 25, 1986, millions of Filipinos gathered along EDSA. They were not armed. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞. Students stood beside grandparents. Nuns stood in front of tanks. Strangers shared water, prayers, and courage.👥

The revolution was launched to end the authoritarian regime of Ferdinand Marcos that was 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝.

It started with frustration over the snap elections and years of unrest, but what unfolded became something bigger than politics.⚠️ 𝐈𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬. In just four days, unity turned into change, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. 🪧

EDSA People Power Revolution is more than just a chapter in our, textbooks — 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫. 🫂 When we see injustice, misinformation, or abuses of authority, we are reminded that our voices matter. 🗣️

Remembering EDSA is about understanding the responsibility that comes with democracy. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠; 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝. ✊✨

After all, People Power was never just about one road, 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲. 🇵🇭🌟

Sometimes, the simplest habits are the easiest to forget ⚠️. Children nowadays are so engrossed with 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 ⛹🏻 and 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮📱 that they tend to forget essential habits like 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 🧼 and 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗵 🦷. Without observing proper hygiene, imagine how many 𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀 and 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 🦠 they encounter daily that can cause 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀! 😷 With this, the 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗦𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 - 𝗖𝗣𝗨𝗦𝗛𝗦, in collaboration with 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗯-𝗼𝘁, launches 🚀 𝑲𝑭𝑪 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕 2: 𝑩𝒖𝒍𝒂 𝒂𝒕 𝑩𝒊𝒚𝒂𝒚𝒂! ✨ to gently remind 💡 the younger generation 👧🏻 that caring for themselves is important and fun! 🤩

Through 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 🎊, the outreach promotes 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 🪥 in a way that is 𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 😉. With the help of dedicated volunteers 👤, students will receive 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 📦 and participate in 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 🩹 — spreading bubbles 🫧 of 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 😁, 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 👀, and 𝒃𝒊𝒚𝒂𝒚𝒂 💫.

Did you know that the Great Wall of China wasn’t built all at once, but over more than 2,000 years? 🤯 What we now admire as a single massive structure is actually a series of walls, fortifications, and watchtowers constructed by different Chinese dynasties, beginning as early as the 7th century BCE.

Originally built to protect territories from invasions and raids, the Great Wall also served as a powerful symbol of authority, unity, and national defense. 🛡️ Beyond military use, it played a role in controlling trade, migration, and communication along ancient routes. It shows how architecture can shape social order and political power.🏛️

The wall stretches across mountains, deserts, and grasslands, adapting to the landscape it was built upon. ⛰️ Made from stone, brick, tamped earth, and wood, its materials reflected the environment and resources available at the time, showing human adaptability and ingenuity.🫂

More than just a physical barrier, the Great Wall stands as a reminder of collective effort. Millions of laborers, soldiers, peasants, and prisoners has contributed to its construction, making it a monument not only of engineering, but of human experience, sacrifice, and resilience.

As HUMSS learners, we are reminded that history lives in structures like these — where culture, politics, geography, and human will intersect. 🌟

On January 12, 2026, campus journalists came together at the Audio-Visual Room, CPU SHS for 𝐈𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, a collaborative seminar and workshop organized by 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐰𝐤 and 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐒𝐒 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 🤝

The afternoon highlighted growth, creativity, and collaboration as JHS and SHS writers took part in hands-on sessions across various fields of campus journalism.
