CALLING FOR PARTICIPANTS!
The West Visayas State University (WVSU), in partnership with the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB), invites all NGAs, LGUs, GOCCs, and WVSU personnel in Region VI and Negros Occidental to join the:
WVSUโGPPB RA 12009 Caravan 2026
Empowering Procurement through the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)
Be part of this important learning event and stay updated on the latest developments in public procurement!
The journey towards stronger procurement practice continues, bringing reform closer to the frontlines of public service.
This upcoming activity builds on the momentum of nationwide initiatives that guided the National Government Agencies (NGAs), Local Government Units (LGUs) and government institutions in understanding and applying the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 12009 or the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA). It aims to strengthen alignment, clarify operational concerns, and reinforce shared standards across the procurement ecosystem.
More than a training, this engagement represents a shift in how capacity-building is delivered, moving from centralized sessions to a more inclusive, region-based approach. With the participation of National Government Agencies (NGAs), Local Government Units (LGUs), Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), and West Visayas State University (WVSU) personnel, we continue translating reform into practical, on-the-ground implementation.
