West Visayas State University β College of Nursing is now accepting applicants for the Special Nursing Review Program (SNRP) 2026, a CHED-supported review initiative designed for Clinical Care Associates (CCAs) and underboard nursing graduates to strengthen their readiness for the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination (PNLE) in February 2026.
The program is a structured, blended review experience built to equip participants with essential knowledge, test-taking skills, and exam confidence.
What is SNRP?
The Special Nursing Review Program is a structured review program offered for FREE (CHED funded), specifically designed to address the learning needs of Clinical Care Associates so they can successfully pass the PNLE. It includes 296 hours of lecture-discussion, intensive review, practice questions, rationalization, and simulated examinations across key nursing subjects.
Why enroll at WVSU?
Choose West Visayas State University because it is a Center of Development (COD) in Nursing and has a strong record of academic excellence, faculty expertise, and organized review implementation. The program is guided by qualified WVSU CON faculty, alumni Topnotchers, and external national reviewers, with a carefully designed structure that supports both knowledge mastery and exam readiness.
Who are qualified?
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
β’ Holder of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
β’ Not yet passed the PNLE.
β’ With good internet connectivity and computer literacy.
β’ Familiar with online learning platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom, and AutoProctor.
Features of the SNRP
The program offers a blended learning format combining online synchronous, online asynchronous, and face-to-face sessions. It runs for 37 days / 296 content hours and is to be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, from July to December 2026. It covers major nursing areas such as Medical-Surgical Nursing, Fundamentals of Nursing, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Leadership and Management, Disaster Nursing, Research and Informatics, and more.
The program includes pre-tests, post-tests, test exercises, a simulated PNLE-style examination, and a catch-up plan for participants who need additional reinforcement.
How to Apply?
