John 11:25
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

Easter Sunday brings us to the dawn of something new, where sorrow gives way to joy and loss is met with restoration. What once seemed like an ending becomes the beginning of a promise fulfilled.

The resurrection is more than a moment, it is a reminder that hope is never lost, and that love does not end in darkness. In the light of this day, may we carry with us a renewed faith, knowing that no matter how long the night may seem, new life will always rise.

Lamentations 3:25–26
“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him… it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”

Black Saturday draws us into a space of quiet waiting, where grief lingers and hope has yet to fully reveal itself. It is a day marked not by answers, but by trust, the kind that remains even when everything feels uncertain.

In the stillness, we remember that not all of God’s work is seen in grand moments. Sometimes, it unfolds in silence, in the waiting, in the spaces in between. As we sit in this pause, may we learn to hold on, trusting that even now, something greater is being prepared for the future.

Luke 23:34
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Good Friday draws us to the foot of the cross. It is a day defined by “Jesus forgiving” and “asking the Father for forgiveness,” for the sake of mankind. Even in His agony on the cross, Jesus desired to forgive those who condemed Him. He also asked the Father to forgive the thieves who mocked Him, to forgive the Roman soldiers who wounded Him, and nailed Him to the cross.

In the solemn shadows of this day, may we pause to reflect on the cost of our redemption. It was never just about a sacrifice; it was about a Savior who loved us dearly as to even forgive and ask for forgiveness for our sins on the cross, turning a moment of ultimate grief into the foundation of our eternal hope.

1 Corinthians 11:24
And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

Maundy Thursday brings us back to a quiet table where Jesus chose love, gratitude, and sacrifice in his final moments with his disciples. In the breaking of the bread and the sharing of the cup, he left a lasting reminder of a love that gives itself completely.

In the stillness of this sacred night, may we remember that the table of the Lord was never just about a meal, it was about a love that would soon be poured out for the world.

Building a greener future, one brick and one sheet at a time! 🌍✨

The Ateneo de Iloilo–Santa Maria Catholic School Senior High School Student Council, in collaboration with the Luntian Environmental Club, conducted an outreach program at Balay Dalayunan titled “Echoes of Conscience, Voices of Community: Hands of Hope” last Wednesday, March 4, 2026. 🏠✨

This initiative is part of the Student Council’s Laudato Si Campaign, and the program upholds the values of Conscience and Community in our Seven Core Values in Action Project. During this activity, we didn’t just visit, we worked together to build a greener future. 🌿🌎 From turning plastic bottles into durable eco-bricks 🧱♻️, transforming old clothes into useful rags 🧵👕, to recycling paper to create eco-friendly charcoal, the goal was to empower the community through sustainable creativity.

This program was led by project heads Wellah Franzee B. Bajada and Nicole Abigail F. Alejo from the Student Council, alongside Kelsey Louise G. Limsui and Kimberly Zoe B. Lagalagot from Luntian, whose leadership and dedication brought this vision to life.

Every plastic bottle, every scrap of fabric, and every sheet of paper donated echoes our commitment to caring for our Common Home. 🦅🍃 Let's turn waste into wonder and service into lasting impact! 🙌✨

Stronger communities are built when people come together with a shared purpose 🤝

Last March 3, 2026, students from 12-Gravitas, in collaboration with the Senior High Student Council, conducted a heartfelt outreach program for the residents of Brgy. Ortiz, City Proper, Iloilo City. In line with the project “Bugsay ng Kultura: Kalinisan at Kaligtasan ng mga Mangingisda sa Brgy. Ortiz, Iloilo City Proper” ✨, this initiative aimed to promote health awareness, safety, and community empowerment among the members of the Brgy. Ortiz Fisherfolk Association.

With the support of Ma’am Dawn Cadiao, the school nurse, participants engaged in insightful and interactive sessions on CPR, wound care, and fire safety. From practicing chest compressions guided by rhythm to learning the proper use of a fire extinguisher, the activity equipped the fisherfolk with practical skills essential to their daily lives and livelihood. Basic necessities were also distributed as additional support for their kabuhayan.

⭐️ This initiative, led by Nicole Abigail F. Alejo and her fellow groupmates from 12-Gravitas, with the assistance of Daen Venice Joy D. Francisco and the Senior High School Student Council, highlighted a shared commitment to promoting health awareness, safety, and empowerment within Brgy. Ortiz. Through live demonstrations and engaging activities, participants strengthened their practical knowledge while fostering unity and shared responsibility in the community.

Padayon sa pagbugsay para sa mas ligtas kag mas maayong komunidad! 🌊🫶
