A day of connection, compassion, and meaningful service unfolded at Barangay Infante, Molo, Iloilo City through 𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐔𝐍-𝐀𝐍 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟒: 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, & 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞.

In partnership with 𝐒𝐓𝐞𝐌𝐀, we were grateful to support an initiative that brought students and the community together in the spirit of service, solidarity, and peace.💚

✨ 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚 𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗬𝗔𝗟: Empowering Student Leaders Through Financial Literacy and Strategic Planning ✨

The 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦’ 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 (𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔) successfully conducted 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚 𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗬𝗔𝗟, an online symposium focused on strengthening student leaders’ knowledge and skills in financial literacy and strategic planning.

Through the insightful discussion led by our resource speaker, 𝗠𝘅. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗜𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗣. 𝗟𝘂𝗴𝗼, participants gained valuable knowledge on responsible financial management, strategic planning, and making informed decisions in handling organizational resources.

More than understanding budgets and finances, 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚 𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗬𝗔𝗟 emphasized that responsible leadership also means being accountable, organized, and intentional in managing the resources entrusted to us.

Through initiatives like this, 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 continues to equip its student leaders with knowledge and skills that can be carried into their future roles as educators, leaders, and advocates.

Today, we are blessed to celebrate the birthday of our beloved 𝑫𝒓. 𝑺𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒉 𝑯. 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒃𝒊𝒕! 🎂 A wonderful teacher who is deeply loved and cherished by many of her students.

As SPEDSA’s beloved mother and Division Adviser, 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒉 is someone who genuinely cares for her students. She is not only a teacher, but also a mother figure, a patient listener, and a comforting presence to those around her. Her patience, understanding, and genuine concern are just some of the many reasons why she is loved and appreciated by so many. 🫶🏻✨

Thank you for always looking after us, checking in on us, and making sure that we are doing well and staying healthy. Thank you for being someone we can look up to, someone who listens, and someone we can always run to when we need guidance and comfort.

This 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲, with the theme, “𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀,” we join the global community in recognizing sign language as more than a form of communication.

Sign language is not simply about communicating without spoken words. Rather, it opens doors that silence cannot close and reminds us that every person deserves to communicate, participate, learn, and belong.👐

Here in SPEDSA, this celebration is a reminder that we are called not only to teach, but to understand beyond words, communicate beyond barriers, and create spaces where every learner can belong.

Today, we celebrate a woman who teaches with compassion, listens with understanding, and empowers others through kindness and purpose.

𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝘽𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙖-𝙙𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙤𝙣 or better known as our 𝐌𝐚'𝐚𝐦 𝐔𝐳𝐢! 🎉💚

One of SPEDSA’s beloved “mothers,” Ma’am U*i is someone who brings warmth, wisdom, and a little bit of fun wherever she goes. And she can never say no to our “TikTok ’ta, Ma’am!”.

More than the lessons she shares inside the classroom, we appreciate the way she makes people feel heard, understood, and supported.
