CPU SOFTWARE ENGINEERING STUDENTS JOIN WORDCAMP PHILIPPINES 2026!

Software Engineering students from Central Philippine University – College of Engineering took part in WordCamp Philippines 2026, joining the WordPress Philippines Contributor Day alongside developers, professionals, students, and technology enthusiasts from across the country.

The experience provided our students with an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and immerse themselves in a real-world technology community—learning from others, exchanging ideas, collaborating, and discovering how they can contribute to the growing open-source ecosystem.

Experiences like this help bridge academic learning and industry practice, inspiring future software engineers to become active contributors, lifelong learners, and innovators in the technology community.

We are proud to see our students learning, connecting, and representing Central Philippine University in the wider Philippine tech community!

Keep learning. Keep building. Keep contributing. 💙
