SCHOOL MISSION
To provide basic quality education by developing the childโ€™s It is located in Barangay San Pedro, Molo, Iloilo City.

Molo I Elementary School is a complete elementary school offering quality basic elementary education curriculum. The school has been in the Top Ten Performing Schools in the Division of Iloilo City in 2005 and 2006. It has a total land area of 2,500 square meters and is classified as a middle โ€“ sized school in the division. The school was established in 1960 as an extension of Baluarte Elementary School under the administration of Mr. Benito Aldana who was then the principal of the school. Classes were housed in the old municipal building of Molo located in front of the Molo Plaza near the Molo Parish Church. As the school population grew bigger, a portion of the Molo Public Market across the plaza was used for additional classrooms. Rapid increase in enrolment forced Mrs. Esperanza Q. Palomar, the principal at that time, to request the construction of additional school buildings in one part of the lot donated to the Iloilo City High School. This started the transfer of classes to the new site located in M.H. del Pilar Street. In 1976, when Mrs. Leonor N. Flores was the principal, the school was split and assigned to two schoolheads. The municipal hall was ultimately vacated and all classes were held in the new site. This was named Molo I Elementary School and continued to be under the same principal. The building adjacent to the market became known as Molo II Elementary School and assigned to a head teacher. Now the school is administered by a Principal I with twenty-two nationally funded teachers, 2 kinder teachers and one utility worker. Of the 22 teachers, three are MT1, four T3, five T2 and ten are T1. The school head is a Master of Arts degree holder. Six out of Twenty-two teachers are now attending Graduate Studies. All teachers and non-teaching personnel are nationally funded.
