The Student Executive Council took part in the Iloilo Youth Advocacy Summit 2026 held last September 5, 2026, at SM Iloilo Terminal Market.

Bringing together young advocates, leaders, and changemakers, the summit served as a meaningful space for learning, dialogue, collaboration, and youth participation in shaping a better community.

As Christian Vincentian Sagradistas, we continue to believe that leadership goes beyond titles as it is about using our voices, taking action, and serving others with purpose.

Through the training sessions, the SEC officers gained valuable insights on understanding issues, amplifying youth voices, communicating advocacies effectively, and turning ideas into meaningful action. 📣🌱

𝑪𝑬𝑳𝑬𝑩𝑹𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑭𝑬𝑨𝑺𝑻 𝑫𝑨𝒀 𝑶𝑭 𝑭𝑨𝑰𝑻𝑯 𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑺𝑬𝑹𝑽𝑰𝑪𝑬

On the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, our HED students came together not only to learn about the life and mission of our patron, but also to witness what it truly means to serve others.

Before the film showing, members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) welcomed students by sharing simple snacks, a small gesture of generosity that set the tone for a meaningful celebration.

This was followed by a film showing of 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒆𝒖𝒓 𝑽𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕; where students were reminded of St. Vincent’s unwavering compassion for the poor and the marginalized, a life devoted to faith expressed through action.

Meanwhile, our Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) members brought that same spirit of charity beyond the walls of the school as they distributed food packs to elderly beneficiaries and e-trike drivers, sharing not only nourishment but also kindness, dignity, and hope.

This celebration reminds us that true Vincentian spirit is seen through living out our faith through actions and may St. Vincent de Paul continues to inspire us to see Christ in those we encounter and to make our faith visible through the acts of service, compassion, and love. 🙏🏼❤️

Today, we honor St. Vincent de Paul, a model of compassion, humility, and selfless service. May his life remind us to see the needs of others, serve with a loving heart, and extend kindness wherever we can.

May we continue to live out his example by choosing faith, charity, and love in action. 🙏💙
