KHA UPDATE | BATANG BIGATIN RISES TO VICTORY!

Clad in their proud purple jerseys and fueled by determination, the athletes of Kids Home Academy, together with their dedicated teacher-coaches, marched through the streets of Pavia on August 1, 2026, joining fellow delegations in the 4th Municipal Meet of Pavia. 🎉

The opening program became even more memorable as KHA's pride, Adrian Joseph Gajasan III, was given the honor of leading the Torch Bearers and administering the Oath of Sportsmanship—a fitting tribute to the municipality's only Gold Medalist in the Palarong Pambansa 2026, where he captured the championship in Secondary Boys Poomsae Freestyle. His leadership, humility, and remarkable achievement served as an inspiration to every athlete present, reminding them of the true spirit of sportsmanship and excellence.

As the games officially began, our athletes dispersed to their respective venues, carrying with them the KHA spirit of resilience, discipline, and determination. By the end of the competition, they had delivered an outstanding performance, bringing home an impressive medal haul of:

🏅15 Gold Medals
🥈6 Silver Medals
🥉Bronze Medals

This year's Municipal Meet marks the largest sports delegation ever fielded by Kids Home Academy—and our most successful one yet! These achievements are a testament to the unwavering dedication of our student-athletes, the tireless guidance of our teacher-coaches, the steadfast support of our parents, and the collective effort of the entire KHA community.

Congratulations to our incredible athletes and coaches! Thank you for making the KHA family immensely proud! 💙✨

KHA Feature: Student Leadership Formation

Every school is more than a place where lessons are taught. It is a community where values are formed, voices are heard, and future leaders begin their journey.
Among those voices are the students who choose to lead—not because they are perfect, but because they are willing to serve.

Every election is a reminder that the future is not decided by one person, but by a generation willing to participate. Because leadership doesn't begin in the halls of government, it begins in the hallways of a school. 🏫✨

STUDENT HIGHLIGHT | KHA Student Council Presidents Ready to Serve 🏫

Leadership is not measured by age but by the willingness to serve. At Kids' Home Academy (KHA), the recently elected Student Council presidents are stepping into their new roles with determination, compassion, and a shared vision of making the school a place where every learner feels valued.

For the Elementary Department, newly elected President Alayzia Ryenne Angelo expressed both gratitude and excitement after earning the trust of her fellow students.

"I feel wonderful because the students trusted me to be their leader."

Inspired by the confidence placed in her, Alayzia hopes to build a school community where every child feels welcomed and appreciated. She believes that even simple actions can create meaningful change. By encouraging her classmates to care for their surroundings, she hopes to inspire teamwork and responsibility.

"I will inspire them through keeping the school clean and green."

Meanwhile, the Junior High School has elected Nicole Espino as its Student Council President. While acknowledging the weight of the position, Nicole embraces the responsibility with optimism and commitment.

"I'm happy and pressured, but I'm willing to take the responsibility as JHS president this school year."

One of her primary goals is to strengthen KHA's Oplan Pabasa Program, believing that literacy remains a powerful foundation for every learner's success. Nicole also emphasized that genuine leadership is built through collaboration. She looks forward to working hand in hand with her fellow officers in implementing projects that will benefit the entire student community.

With the support of the student body, faculty, and parents, the Student Council is to become more than a group of elected officers. They are a generation of leaders learning to make a difference today while preparing to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
