Last April 8, 2026, at the BINHI TBI Training Room, our founders gathered for another insightful session of the Seed2Sprout Bootcamp focused on one of the most critical aspects of startup growth—Fundraising for Startups.

Led by Engr. Ma. Shariz Rose P. Garrino, Regional Ecosystem Coordinator of Unified Movement in Western Visayas to Accelerate Startups and Spin-offs Development (UMWAD) Western Visayas, the session guided founders through the realities of startup financing, investor readiness, and building ventures that are both scalable and investable.

With her expertise and experience in the startup ecosystem, participants were able to:

[2] Explore both dilutive and non-dilutive funding opportunities
[3] Identify investors, grants, and ecosystem support available for startups
[4] Learn how to position and present their startups as fundable ventures

More than learning how to raise funds, the session emphasized the importance of building startups with clarity, sustainability, and purpose.
