In observance of Holy Week, classes, office work and all other activities will only be until 12noon of April 1, 2026.
Regular office operations and classes will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026.
All employees are to check and unplug all office equipment and appliances before securing and leaving their offices for the long break.
All campuses will be closed to students and employees during the said break.

SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

Due to a security concern, all classes in all levels shall shift to online or alternative modes today, February 18, 2026. Students will not be allowed to enter the campus until the security concern has been cleared.

Clinical areas may proceed as scheduled.

Employees shall report to work at 1pm except for Security, Maintenance and Buildings and Grounds personnel.

All are advised to monitor further announcements from the Administration as the situation develops.

Nipah virus causes a rare but serious illness that can spread from animals (such as bats or pigs) to people, contaminated fruits or fruit products - and sometimes between people.
Outbreaks are usually small and containable.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐡 𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬?
⏱️ Nipah symptoms usually begin within a week - between 3–14 days after exposure.
🔍 Early detection and diagnosis are essential to reduce the risk of death.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?
🦠 There is currently no specific medicine or vaccine for Nipah virus in people or animals.
⏱️ Early diagnosis and timely supportive care can greatly improve chances of recovery.
Remember: simple everyday actions can help prevent infection!

In view of the latest pronouncements of the Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas regarding the suspension of face to face classes in all levels today, February 6, 2026, due to Bagyo Basyang, all classes shall adopt online or alternative modes of learning.

Colleges with clinical areas may proceed as scheduled at the discretion of their respective Deans.

Office operations will continue.
