John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Molo) proudly congratulates Dr. Ma. Agnes Regina O. Torres, Tech Voc Head, for being awarded Third Place in The Outstanding PERAA Member 2026 – Administrative Category.

The recognition was given during the Administrators’ Conference & 46th Annual Meeting of the Private Education Retirement Annuity Association (PERAA) at the Baguio Country Club, Baguio City, on September 11, 2026.

This achievement reflects her 25 years of dedicated service and commitment to the institution, as well as JBLFMU (Molo)’s continued support and encouragement of its teachers and employees in their professional growth and achievements.

𝗝𝗕𝗟𝗙𝗠𝗨 (𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗼) 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗬

The High School Day was a meaningful event that brought together students from both Junior High School and Senior High School through sports, recreation, and camaraderie. It provided an opportunity for students to connect with their peers, communicate with one another, and build stronger relationships beyond the classroom.

Throughout the event, students participated in various activities and sports, including volleyball, basketball, e-sports, and more, allowing them to showcase their skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm. These activities showed that learning can also take place through physical participation, cooperation, and shared experiences.

The Student Executive Council (SEC) also played an important role in organizing and supporting the event. Through their efforts and cooperation, they helped make the activities successful and enjoyable for everyone.

Overall, High School Day allowed students to learn beyond academics by developing teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, and confidence. More than just a day of competition, it became an opportunity for students to enjoy, connect, and create memorable experiences together.

𝗝𝗕𝗟𝗙𝗠𝗨 (𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗼) 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 9 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

The Cebu Educational Trip was a meaningful and enriching experience filled with exploration, maritime learning, and historical discovery. Throughout the journey, the students had the opportunity to explore different areas of a ship, including the engine room, where they gained a better understanding of the machinery and systems that keep a vessel operating efficiently.

They also visited the bridge, or wheelhouse, where they learned about ship navigation, control systems, and the responsibilities involved in operating a vessel safely.

Beyond maritime learning, the students explored some of Cebu's most significant historical and cultural landmarks. They visited the Lapu-Lapu Monument, Fort San Pedro, historic churches, and other notable sites that helped them appreciate Cebu's rich history and cultural heritage. The trip also provided an opportunity to see the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), one of the longest bridges in the Philippines, showcasing the region's development and progress in infrastructure.

Overall, the educational trip allowed the students to learn beyond the classroom by connecting their maritime studies with real-life experiences and historical discoveries. It strengthened their appreciation for Philippine history, culture, and the maritime profession while creating memorable experiences with their classmates and teachers.

The journey not only expanded their knowledge but also inspired them to value the importance of learning through firsthand experience.
