Today, we commemorate the ๐๐๐๐ year since the declaration of ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ in the Philippinesโa period in our history that left deep marks on countless Filipino lives. We remember not only the events written in history books, but also the voices, struggles, sacrifices, and experiences of those who lived through those years.
This commemoration is a reminder that history is more than a collection of dates and names. Behind every historical event are people whose lives were changed, families who endured uncertainty, communities that experienced fear and hardship, and individuals who continued to speak, resist, and hope despite difficult circumstances.

May this day remind us of the value of May we never take these freedoms for granted. May we have the courage to question, the wisdom to learn, and the compassion to remember the people behind the pages of history.
Because remembering is not about living in the past. It is about learning from it. And when history is remembered, voices are given a chance to be heard again.
