Attached is the list of the first-year applicants for the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering for the First Semester, Academic Year 2026-2027. Please take note of the following guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process on May 16, 2026.

​𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡

​Examination Date: May 16, 2026
​Venue: NISU West Campus, Engineering Building, 2nd Floor.
​Arrival Time: Applicants must be at the venue at least 1 hour before the scheduled start. Early arrival is necessary for attendance checking and room assignment.

𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙙𝙚

​All examinees are required to dress appropriately. The following attire is strictly prohibited:
​Slippers
​Sando (sleeveless shirts)​
Shorts

​Please wear comfortable but decent attire (e.g., polo shirts, t-shirts with sleeves, jeans/slacks, and closed shoes).

Please bring the following items for submission and use during the exam. Incomplete requirements may result in disqualification from taking the test.

1. Report Card: Original or certified copy (Note: General Weighted Average must be 88 and above).
2. NSO/PSA Live Birth Certificate: One (1) machine copy.
3. Identification Card (ID): One (1) machine copy.
Writing Materials: Pencil and Ballpen.
White Long Folder: Must include a fastener.

Huge congratulations to our Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) board passers! Out of our 8 successful MELE examinees, 6 new Mechanical Engineers officially took their oath as full-fledged professionals at the Acacia Hotel, Bacolod City.

The remaining 2 passers are set to take their oath in Iloilo City. The schedule will be posted soon by the PSME Panay Chapter.

Culilang, isa ka dedikado nga manunudlo sang Mechanical Engineering Department, sa ginhiwat nga 𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙄𝙎𝙀 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮, sang nagligad nga Abril 22, 2026 kabahin sang selebrasyon sang 𝙄𝙠𝙖-𝘼𝙥𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 sa NISU Main Campus.

Ang ini nga pagkilala nagpamatuod nga ang pagtudlo isa ka halangdon kag notable nga propesiyon. Sa sulod sang madamo nga tuig, iya ginpakita ang dedikasyon kung sa diin siya nagserbi bilang former Chairperson kag isa sa mga nagtatag sang amo nga departamento. Dako ang iya kontribusyon sa paghulma sang kalidad nga edukasyon kag pagpasanyog sa mga estudyante.

Ini nga kadalag-an indi lamang personal nga pagdayaw kay Engr. Culilang, apang isa man ka bugal sang bilog nga College of Engineering ilabi na gid sang Mechanical Engineering Department.

Setting the tone for the NISU College Admission Test (NCAT) 2026, the university released the official guidelines for applicants scheduled to take the examination on April 25–26.

Examinees are advised to bring only a recent valid ID, examination permit, ballpen, and water bottle, while bags are strictly prohibited inside the testing venue.

Additionally, applicants are reminded to wear proper attire and arrive at least one hour before their scheduled examination.

Meanwhile, entrance will be through the Main Gate, while exit will be at the Zone 3 Gate.

Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) announces the resumption of face-to-face classes across all its campuses starting April 13, 2026.

Students are encouraged to take simple precautions to help manage the heat while on campus.

Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day, wear light and breathable clothing, and use umbrellas, caps, or other protective gear when moving between buildings.

It is also advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, take short breaks in shaded or well-ventilated areas, and be mindful of any signs of heat-related discomfort.
