How’s your first day of duty, Primo Clinical Clerks? 🩺🐺

From putting on your new white uniforms and scrub suits, to handling your first real responsibilities on the floor. Today marks a big step in your journey. It’s the start of long nights, real-life learning, and moments that will test and strengthen you.

There will be challenges, doubts, and days that feel heavy — but always remember why you started. Every chart, every patient, every effort counts.

Hold on to your purpose, lean on your fellow clerks, and never lose the heart that brought you here. You’re not just training to be doctors — you’re learning to be healers.

Day one down. A lifetime of service and growth ahead. 💙

Primo Vinco Omnia — We conquer all.
Today, we take one step closer to becoming the doctors we’ve always dreamed of.

After completing our training in donning and doffing, IV insertion, Basic Life Support, and endotracheal intubation, we are now more ready than ever to face the real world of medicine.

It’s not just about the skills—it’s about the heart, the courage, and the calling to serve.

Clerkship, here we come. 💉🩺💪

Happy Birthday to Our June warriors of Batch Primo Vinco Omnia! 🎉🎊

June has officially arrived—and with it comes the final stretch the wild ride of clerkship begins. But before we throw ourselves into scrubs, stethoscopes, and sleepless nights, we’re hitting the pause button to celebrate some very special people: OUR MAY BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS! 🎈🎁🎂

You’ve made it this far with humor, grit, and probably way too much caffeine ☕️- and now, as we stand right on the edge of hospital duty, we couldn’t let this month pass without showing you some love.
——

To our June babies,

You bring warmth, light, and that steady, grounding presence we all need - especially now. Whether you’re the lowkey motivator in the group or the one keeping spirits high during late-night study marathons, you’ve made your mark on all of us.

So as we celebrate your birthdays this month, we’re also celebrating the journey ahead…. because you’re about to step into something huge (and by huge we meant responsibilities 😅). And we know you’ll carry that same kindness, strength, and quiet brilliance into the wards.

Let’s shower our June celebrants with the love they deserve - because after this, it’s all white uniforms, scrub suits, and ward work!

Happy Birthday, legends. We’ve got your back- now and all through clerkship.

Primo Vinco Omnia was proud to participate in this year's 3rd Academic Fiesta, wherein intellect, teamwork, and school spirit were put to full show. Students' hard work and brilliance were in full bloom as they confidently defended their research, shone bright in their team colors during the CPC, and fought brains in the always-exciting quiz bee.

We offer our sincere appreciation to our hardworking Research Instructor, Dr. Maria Kristina Almonte, whose direction enabled all research presentations to be made possible. We further appreciate our honorarium panel of judges — Dr. Celina Vilches, Dr. Purisima Atas, and Dr. Richelle Bayson — who shared their expertise and time to influence our academic development.

Best Poster Presentation:

🥇1st Place - ABO Blood Group Susceptibility to Coronavirus Diseases 2019 (COVID-2019) in Iloilo Doctors’ College of Medicine

🥈2nd Place - Association of Sleeping Patterns and Academic Performance based on General Weighted Average (GWA) of First Year and Second Year Medical Students during S.Y. 2022-2023 at Iloilo Doctors’ College of Medicine

🥉3rd Place - Medical Students’ Perception of the Educational Environment in Iloilo Doctors’ College of Medicine S.Y. 2023-2024

Congratulations to all the students who worked their hearts out, stood up, and made this competition worthwhile and worth remembering. You all did wonderfully — your heart and efforts were not in vain!
