Central Philippine University College of Nursing, in collaboration with CCINAA and the Philippine Nurses Association of America Eastern Region, held PNAA Salin-Kaalaman 2026 last January 15, 2026, at the Rose Memorial Auditorium in Iloilo City.
With the theme “The Role of Nursing in Advancing Health Equity and Social Justice,” the forum featured notable local and international speakers, including keynote speaker Dr. Dula Pacquiao. She shared important insights on nursing leadership, education, and equitable healthcare. 💚💛

Last January 7-9, 2026, thirty-seven faculty members from nursing education institutions across the country took part in the first Foundations of Simulation-Based Education workshop led by the University of the Philippines College of Nursing.
The three-day workshop aimed to improve participants’ understanding of simulation-based education. It covered the theoretical foundations, practical uses, and various formats of this approach. The workshop addressed the growing demand for organized, competency-based methods in nursing education. It also provided educators with the skills needed to create, guide, and evaluate simulation activities that closely reflect real clinical environments.
SPUI-CON was represented by Clinical Coordinator Ms. Maylene G. Rance, OR/DR Coordinator Ms. Maria Janna Ronquillo, NALS Coordinator Mr. Marjan Tam Casupanan, and PNSO Adviser Mr. John Rex Baltazar Jr., reaffirming the institution’s commitment to advancing excellence in nursing education.

Today, Paulinian Student Nurses, together with their Clinical Instructors, celebrated the annual community Christmas party at Caraudan Elementary School in Caraudan, Janiuay, Iloilo.🎀
We are filled with immense joy seeing the endless smiles on the people of Caraudan. Their warmth, stories, and laughter reminded us why service to the community is at the heart of our calling. Moments like these strengthen our purpose and inspire us to keep reaching out with compassion and kindness 🎄✨
As they say in nursing, to care is to bring hope. Today, we witnessed how genuine care can light up a room, uplift a community, and remind us all that even the simplest acts of service can create lasting impact.
