𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝘼𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖....

On September 21, 2026, the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council conducted its 4th Special Meeting at the Student Council Office. The agenda focused on the post-University Week assessment and feedback, while also tackling upcoming partnerships, projects, and council initiatives, from the digital attendance monitoring system to the Collegial Shirt Batch 2, outreach programs, mental health initiatives, organizational activities, Teachers’ Day, office renovation, and transparency updates.

With UWeek wrapped up, the student council now turns its attention to what comes next, strengthening initiatives, addressing what needs to be improved, and continuing to serve the CASimanwas.

Even the smallest boat can survive the vastest ocean when it isn't carrying the storm alone.

In the quietest hours when thoughts get overwhelming, remember these four steps:

𝐻𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜, 𝐻𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑎, 𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑠𝑎𝑏𝑖, 𝑀𝑎𝑦 𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑎 𝑘𝑎.

Your story isn't over yet. Let someone help you navigate the dark until the sun comes back up. 🕯️

Fifty-four years ago, Martial Law was declared in the Philippines—ushering in an era of severe human rights violations, censorship, and injustice.

Today, as we face ongoing corruption and attempts to rewrite our history, remembering is an act of resistance. Our history must shape the choices we make and the truths we defend.

We choose to remember, and we choose to speak up.

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙏 𝘽𝙀𝙃𝙄𝙉𝘿 𝘾𝘼𝙎

Today, we celebrate not only our beloved College Dean, but also one of the people who has become a guiding light and a mother figure to us CASimanwas.

To Dr. Catherine Yap, your leadership goes far beyond the title. You have shown us what dedication, perseverance, and genuine compassion look like, not only through the way you lead, but through the way you care. In moments when we feel lost, your guidance helps us find our way; when trials become heavy, your words remind us to keep going; and when we feel discouraged, your support gives us the strength to rise again.

Thank you showing faith in us, supporting our goals , and always making us feel that we have someone in our corner. Your kindness and encouragement have left a mark on so many CASimanwas, and we are truly grateful to have you leading our college.

Today, we honor you not just as our Dean, but as a mother figure who continues to nurture, inspire, and bring out the best in the CAS family.

May this special day bring you the same warmth, joy, and love that you have generously shared with all of us. From your CAS family, we wish you nothing but the best, Ma’am Yap! May you continue to inspire, lead, and shine as you serve the College of Arts and Sciences.

🏆 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐔! 🥈✨

Huge congratulations to the 𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗧-𝗨 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 for securing 1𝙨𝙩 𝙍𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙐𝙥 in the intense grand finals of 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻: 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 last September 9, 2026!

Our articulate advocates went head-to-head against the University of San Agustin Team in a thrilling clash of wit and eloquence, standing firm on the Affirmative side of the motion:

📌 "LIBRT: GOVERNMENTS SHOULD IMPLEMENT A UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME (UBI) TO MITIGATE WORKFORCE DISPLACEMENT."

With compelling arguments and unshakeable conviction, our College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) representatives proved their mastery on the podium:

Alog, Arbie G.
Apsay, Jemroche
Antiqueña, Syrose N.
Asturias, Ralph John
Aurelio, Jane Mae C.
Candaliza, Johann Eleus
Catalan, Sabel Angela I.
De Los Reyes, Leo
Gaje, Arielle Gem E.
Legaspi, Jill P.

Your entire ISAT U and CAS family are extremely proud of your dedication, analytical brilliance, and sportsmanship. Thank you for raising our banner high! 💙💛

𝙉𝙊 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙓𝙏. 𝙉𝙊 𝙒𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂. 𝙅𝙐𝙎𝙏 𝙈𝙀𝙈𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙀𝙎!

Random pictures? Absolutely. Random moments? Definitely. But somehow, when you put them all together, they tell the whole story.

From our CASSC officers preparing for Uweek, to our participants, volunteers, and everyone who gave their time, effort, and commitment to make every event happen, this gallery has a little bit of everything.

And if you scroll far enough, you’ll find the moments we captured during UWEEK itself. From the big events and intense competitions, to random poses, candid shots, behind-the-scenes kalat, tired faces, stolen moments, and memories that somehow became worth keeping.

Because sometimes, the best parts of UWEEK weren’t the moments we planned to capture. They were the little moments in between, the laughs after a long day, the random pictures with friends, the chaos behind every event, and the memories we didn’t know we’d want to look back on.

So before we finally clear out that gallery…

Here’s a little dump of the moments, memories, and random ganaps that made this UWEEK one worth remembering. Win or lose, prepared or pagod, picture-ready or caught off guard, these are the moments we get to keep.

𝘾𝘼𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙬𝙖𝙨, 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚'𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨!
