📢ANNOUNCEMENT📢
Nabitasan Integrated School

Based on the latest forecast, our area will be widely affected by Typhoon “Opong”, bringing strong winds and heavy rainfall.

In line with Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 102, classes in all levels at Nabitasan Integrated School are hereby suspended tomorrow, September 26, 2025 (Friday).

This suspension is for the safety and protection of our learners, teachers, and school personnel.

We enjoin everyone to take precautionary measures, stay indoors, and monitor further announcements from PAGASA, LGU, DepEd, and our official school page.

📢 DepEd Region VI Launches ARAL Program at Nabitasan IS 📢

The Department of Education (DepEd) Region VI officially launched the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program on September 13, 2025, at Nabitasan Integrated School, La Paz, Iloilo City.

The ARAL Program, under RA 12028, is a free national intervention for learners from Kindergarten to Grade 10, focusing first on reading recovery, then expanding to Mathematics and Science.

DepEd officials led by USec. Atty. Peter Irving C. Corvera and OIC-Regional Director Cristito A. Eco emphasized that ARAL aims to reverse the learning crisis, strengthen foundational skills, and provide support for both learners and teachers.

A turnover of 15 laptops and 60 “Edukahon” boxes capped the launch, reinforcing DepEd’s commitment to accessible and quality education.

📢 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Due to the inclement weather and for the safety of our learners, teachers, and personnel, face-to-face classes at Nabitasan Integrated School are hereby suspended.

In line with this, all classes will shift to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) to ensure continuity of learning. Teachers will provide instructions and learning tasks through appropriate ADM modalities (modules, online platforms, or other agreed methods).

We advise everyone to stay safe and keep updated through our official channels for further announcements.

📍 Event: BSP–GSP Joint Camporal
📍 Host School: Nabitasan Integrated School
📍 Date: September 19–20, 2025
📍 Theme: “Be Prepared: Scouts for Peace and Sustainable Development”

The Nabitasan Integrated School, in collaboration with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), successfully conducted its Joint Camporal on September 19–20, 2025. With the theme “Be Prepared: Scouts for Peace and Sustainable Development,” the activity aimed to empower young scouts through leadership training, values formation, and community engagement.

The Camporal was organized to:

Strengthen the spirit of discipline, camaraderie, and teamwork among the scouts.

Promote the ideals of peace, leadership, and responsible citizenship through scouting activities.

Raise awareness on sustainable development practices and the importance of caring for the environment.

Provide opportunities for scouts to demonstrate preparedness, creativity, and initiative in various challenges and activities.

Highlights of the Activity

Opening Ceremony with flag rites and inspirational messages from school and community leaders.

Team-building activities that fostered unity and collaboration.

Skill demonstrations in basic survival, first aid, and environmental care.

Campfire Night that showcased scouting talents, songs, and skits promoting peace and sustainability.

Community service initiatives that instilled the values of responsibility and volunteerism.

Closing Ceremony recognizing outstanding scouts and patrols.

Conclusion

The two-day Camporal was a memorable and meaningful experience for all participants, reinforcing the scouting motto of being “Always Prepared.” The event not only honed the skills of the scouts but also deepened their commitment to peace, service, and sustainable development.

DepEd Region VI Launches ARAL Program at Nabitasan Integrated School

La Paz, Iloilo City – The Department of Education (DepEd) Region VI formally launched the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learner (ARAL) Program on September 13, 2025, hosted by the Schools Division Office (SDO) Iloilo City at Nabitasan Integrated School.

The ARAL Program, a flagship initiative of DepEd, aims to address learning gaps, strengthen foundational skills, and accelerate the academic recovery of learners across the region. The event gathered key education leaders and stakeholders in support of this crucial undertaking.

Participants of the Book Nook Conference 2025 held a "Grand Hibla Lokal Day" at the Nabitasan Integrated School in La Paz, Iloilo City. 📝💪

Book Nook site coordinators were able to apply what they learned from the first two days of the conference, and were able to bring Filipino stories to life through creative storytelling. 📚

Hibla Lokal acts as the localized capacity building series of workshops of the Book Nook Project modified to suit the needs of the communities they serve. 🩵🧡
