We are honored to have 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗧. 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻, a proud alumnus of Lanag Norte National High School, Batch 2011, and now a dedicated teacher, as our 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿
for this year’s 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺.

During the activity, he had the opportunity to observe, check, and rate the presentations of teachers as they presented their Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) guides.

This meaningful engagement allowed student leadership to witness firsthand the collaborative efforts of educators in strengthening learning resources that support not only academic growth but also the social and emotional development of learners.

Hans your dedication to representing the voice of the students and being part of initiatives that promote quality education truly reflects the essence of genuine leadership. We are proud of you for continuing to lead, learn, and serve with excellence.

Our SSLG President, Hans Derrick Herbo, actively participated in the Finalization and Pilot Testing of the SEL Learning Guides held from March 12-13, 2026 at J7 Hotel, Iloilo. This event brought together educators and student leaders to collaborate, share ideas, and ensure that the learning guides are effective and student-friendly.

We are proud to see our president taking part in shaping tools that will enhance the social and emotional learning of students across our community. Truly inspiring to see leadership in action!

According to 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐍𝐨. 𝟎𝟕, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, all learners are invited to join a simple yet meaningful observance of the 𝐄𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲.

On 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟓 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲., everyone is encouraged to 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 as part of the “We Wear Black, on Wednesday”

Although it remains a regular school day and classes will proceed as usual, this observance aims to open moments for reflection inside our classrooms—reminding us of a defining period in our nation’s history when Filipinos united to defend freedom and democracy.

Wearing black serves as a quiet tribute to those who bravely stood for peaceful change. The yellow ribbon—long recognized as a symbol of hope and unity—reminds us that courage is not always loud; sometimes it is seen in simple acts, shared purpose, and collective remembrance.

In 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬, the LNNHS community takes part in honoring the past while learning how we can help shape a better and more hopeful future.
