GUIDELINES
1. The Search for 2025 Homecoming King and Queen is OPEN to all Jubilarians and to all batches/classes.

2. This Search will be determined by the financial support and/or fund donations provided by the candidates and their supporters.

3. Candidates must be nominated in pairs (King and Queen) based on their batch or year of graduation. Only ONE pair per batch.

4. The opening bid/donation of each pair is Twenty Thousand Pesos (PHP 20,000.00) only. Proceeds exceeding the PHP 20,000.00 opening bid (70% of the excess) will go towards the project approved by the school in collaboration with the IHS-INHS Alumni Association and the Iloilo High School Alumni Foundation. The project included:
-1 practice room for SHS Arts and Design Track
-1 room for SHS Sports Track

5. The 30% of the funds/proceeds in excess of PHP20,000.00 will be returned to the candidates and their supporters

6 .If the donations are made in US dollars, conversion rate will be based on the day the remittance is received in.

7. A completed Registration Form, including the official candidate’s name and the class/batch they represent, must be submitted on or before February 3, 2025. The form may be submitted in person to the Office of the Principal or via email at [email protected]. Registration Forms are available in the Principal’s office or can be downloaded in through this link: [https://tinyurl.com/4rt2u2s4].

8. Canvassing will take place on February 21, 2025, according to the following schedule.
 9:00 AM – Start of Canvassing
 12:30 PM – Sneak preview of the top 5 candidates (not in order)
 4:00 PM – Reveal of Top 5
 5:00 PM – “Snatch the Crown” / Final Canvassing

9. After the last canvassing, the pair with the highest fund raised will be crowned 2025 Grand Alumni Homecoming King and 2025 Grand Alumni Homecoming Queen. They will be conferred the titles King Minervius and Queen Minerva during the coronation ceremony on February 21, 2025, at the Bola-Bola Fiesta Night.

10. In addition to the grand titles the following runners-up will be announced:
 1st Runner-up: King and Queen Sage (The Wise and the Learned)
 2nd Runner-up: King and Queen Veritas (Truth and Integrity
 3rd Runner-up: King and Queen Virtusa (Arts, Music, Beauty and Performances
 4th Runner-up: King and Queen Arete (Excellence and Moral Virtue)
 All other candidates shall be named King and Queen of their batch/class.

The DUNGOG THOMASITES Award was established to honor the remarkable achievements of the 2025 Jubilarians from Iloilo High School and Iloilo National High School. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their profession, academia, research, or community development at the local, regional, national, or international level. It serves as a testament to the enduring legacy of high-quality education pioneered by the Thomasites, the school's first teachers. The award is a celebration of the transformative impact of these distinguished alumni
