β¨ Featured today: excerpts from the heartfelt letter of Friona Lyn Rose Cabales (Grade 9 Kaptan, SPA β Creative Writing) addressed to Rizal, first read during our βAmin ang Kasaysayan: Kwentoβt Liham ng Kabataanβ culminating activity last August. Her words reflect admiration, gratitude, and the promise of the youth to carry forward Rizalβs ideals.

Graciano was born on Dec. 18, 1856 in Jaro. He founded and was the first editor of the newspaper La Solidaridad. A great orator, he went to Spain to study and campaign for political reforms in the Philippines, alongside Filipino reformists Jose Rizal, Marcelo del Pilar, among others.
