🌴 EVALUATION & FARM VISITATION IN LEON, ILOILO! 🌴

The Remnant Institute Inc. Farm Technician Team conducted farm evaluation activities for participants from the Municipality of Leon, Iloilo, who attended the seminar entitled "CocoHealth: Integrating Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture and Health Promotion in Coconut Farming Systems".
The seminar was held from March 8 to March 31, 2026, in La Paz, Iloilo City.

Remnant Institute Inc. in collaboration with the Agricultural Training Institute-Department of Agriculture (ATI-DA) successfully conducted eight (8) batches of the Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture (NSA) Seminar entitled "CocoHealth: Integrating Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture and Health promotion in Coconut Farming Systems."

The seminar brought together coconut farmers from the municipalities of Sara, Alimodian, and Leon, providing them with valuable knowledge and practical strategies on integrating nutrition-sensitive agriculture into their farming practices.

The training aimed to deepen participants' understanding of the principles, mechanisms, and benefits of NSA as an effective approach to improving the health, nutrition, and overall well-being of coconut farming households and communities. It also encouraged the development of collaborative projects and community-based advocacies that will promote sustainable agriculture, healthy living, and resilient farming communities.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to empowering farmers not only as food producers but also as champions of nutrition, health, and sustainable development. We hope that the knowledge, skills, and inspiration gained throughout the seminar will be applied in your daily lives and shared with your families, fellow farmers, and communities.
