A bittersweet moment fills the air as students from Nagoya Gakuin University celebrate their graduation day, marking the successful completion of their international program.

PREVIOUSLY: Strengthening Global Connections at CPU!

Students from Kobe Shoin Junior High School, Japan recently visited the Local and International Linkages and Affiliations Center (LILAC) of Central Philippine University as part of their international exchange activities.

The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and the exploration of future collaborative opportunities between institutions. This engagement reflects CPU’s continuous commitment to fostering global education and international partnerships.

LOOK: Students from Nagoya Gakuin University, Japan participated in engaging cultural activities at the IELTS Center of Central Philippine University as part of the Student Mobility Program.

The session featured hands-on experiences such as Onigiri-making workshops, creative origami activities, and interactive games, allowing students to connect, learn, and celebrate Japanese culture together.

These meaningful exchanges continue to strengthen the global partnership between CPU and Nagoya Gakuin University, fostering deeper cultural understanding and international collaboration.

𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗼

After weeks of meaningful learning and cultural exchange, students bid farewell to Hanae Sato, an intern from 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗼𝘆𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, during a heartfelt recognition ceremony led by the Local and International Linkages and Affiliations Center (LILAC), with Acting Director Lesley Joy L. Dignadice.

A certificate of completion and a token of appreciation were given in honor of her contributions. Students from various colleges expressed deep gratitude, with one sharing how Hanae's class allowed him to experience Japanese culture firsthand.

On March 28, 2025, Central Philippine University Junior High School warmly welcomed students from 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗷𝗶𝗿𝗶 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻, for an enriching cultural exchange. The visit featured interactive activities that fostered friendship and learning, followed by a campus tour.
During the interactive session, students had fun playing "𝘏𝘦𝘱 𝘏𝘦𝘱 𝘏𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘺", bringing laughter and energy to the exchange. Later, they joined in singing heartfelt songs, accompanied by a CPU-JHS Council member on guitar, creating a beautiful moment of unity through music.
