The WVSU Knowledge and Technology Transfer and Business Development Center (KTTBDC) joins AI Fest 2026, a national gathering of AI enthusiasts, researchers, industry leaders, innovators, startups, students, and government stakeholders, happening on August 3โ5, 2026, at the Iloilo Convention Center.
AI Fest 2026 brings together key players from across the country to explore the opportunities, applications, and responsible use of artificial intelligence. The festival features activities including the AI Technical Conference, AI Hackathon, PGDX IloiloโAI Expo, SineAI, AI Game On!, AI in Motion, AI Speaks, AI Connect, and AI Policy Lab.

Ms. Nacario presented ๐๐๐
๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ, a sustainable feed innovation that converts organic waste and agricultural by-products into a valuable protein source for livestock, poultry, and aquaculture. The technology demonstrates how research can address agricultural challenges while promoting waste reduction, resource efficiency, and a circular economy.
Her participation was supported through the Universityโs ๐๐ฃ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ค๐ก๐ค๐๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฝ๐ช๐จ๐๐ฃ๐๐จ๐จ ๐ฟ๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐ค๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐พ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ง (๐๐๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐พ) ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ง๐๐ข, which continue to provide opportunities for WVSU researchers and innovators to showcase, develop, and advance promising technologies toward commercialization.
The summit gathered researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, government agencies, and technology advocates to showcase promising agri-aqua technologies and strengthen opportunities for collaboration and commercialization. Through technology pitching, exhibits, networking, technology matching, and expert discussions, the event provided a platform for transforming research outputs into practical and market-ready solutions.
The recognition highlights the creativity, dedication, and innovative capacity of WVSU researchers. It also reflects the Universityโs continuing commitment, through the KTTBDC and its partnership with the RAISE Program, to supporting technologies that contribute to sustainable agricultural development and respond to the needs of communities and industries.
