On September 3, 2026, the Mandurriao National High School community gathered for the Parenting Symposium 2026, centered on the theme โ€œ๐‘ƒ๐‘œ๐‘ ๐‘–๐‘ก๐‘–๐‘ฃ๐‘’ ๐‘ƒ๐‘Ž๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘›๐‘ก๐‘–๐‘›๐‘”: ๐ท๐‘–๐‘ ๐‘๐‘–๐‘๐‘™๐‘–๐‘›๐‘’ ๐‘Š๐‘–๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘ก ๐‘‰๐‘–๐‘œ๐‘™๐‘’๐‘›๐‘๐‘’โ€

This meaningful event highlighted the importance of choosing positive discipline over fear and violence, reminding parents and guardians that children can be corrected and guided through patience, communication, consistency, and compassion. ๐ŸŒฑ

We were also honored to have ๐€๐ญ๐ญ๐ฒ. ๐’๐ž๐๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ฒ ๐‹๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ณ ๐‚๐š๐›๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ง๐š as our distinguished guest speaker. With his experiences in law, public service, media, and community development, he shared valuable insights that contributed to the discussion on responsible parenting, discipline, and building stronger relationships within the family.

The symposium served as an opportunity for parents, educators, and members of the school community to learn, reflect, and strengthen their commitment to raising children in an environment where they feel heard, respected, supported, and loved. Because discipline should not be about making children afraidโ€”it should be about helping them understand, learn, and become better individuals.
