𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗼!

Various youth organizations from the City of Love flocked to La Paz Plaza last Sunday, August 16 for the 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

The youth were divided into eight teams for the 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗵𝗶 where they showcased their teamwork, energy, and competitive spirit through fun traditional games, along with their creative 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟭

As the academic year begins, University President Dr. Joselito F. Villaruz shared the university’s efforts in welcoming the new set of Taga-West. He also shared his achievement in ranking among the Top 10 SUC Presidents in the Philippines.

In this episode, he also introduced West Visayas State University’s mascot, “Leo” the Maral, through an interactive game. The discussion also highlighted the university’s efforts in preserving marals at the Mariit Conservation Park under the WVSU College of Agriculture and Forestry.

The Guild is beyond grateful to be part of this significant celebration of youth development and leadership formation.

Moreover, the maroon-blooded organizations also bagged three awards, such as the 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.

The Broadcast Guild officially kicked off the Academic Year 2026-2027 with its 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨' 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, bringing together its newly elected officers with 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙧, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙈𝙞𝙡 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙜.

The meeting featured discussions on the Guild’s upcoming plans, programs, and events this academic year.

The Guild was also honored by the presence of broadcasting professors, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙡𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙚 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙤 and 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝙍𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙮 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣, who joined the gathering and shared in the Guild’s vision for the year ahead.

A little teamwork, a little creativity, and a whole lot of COC spirit! The 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 joined fellow organizations from the 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 in bringing the college booth to life at 𝙒𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 2026.
