𝐉𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

On the 11th of December 2025, Jaro National High School celebrated English Month spearheaded by the English Department and English Club with the theme, “Unlocking minds through English and literature,” which took place in the school’s covered gym.

The program was driven by Jules Projo and Miko Gumban as the masters of ceremonies, which then commenced at 1:00 p.m. with a nationalistic song and the Jaro Hymn, which set a patriotic and vibrant atmosphere, followed by words of welcome delivered by Sir Erlito A. Jaro, Master Teacher III, who highlighted the importance of English Month and this year’s theme.

In turn, the event went on with the introduction of the Board of Judges presented by Ma’am Winnielyn H. Zuniega, Teacher I, who warmly introduced the esteemed judges, thereby preparing for the much-anticipated competitions.

Angel Marie B. Francisquite took care of the reading of guidelines in character impersonation, thereby allowing the performances to unfold. Besides, the Contest Proper started off with great anticipation, which was soon followed by the Announcement of Winners in Spelling Bee and Storytelling, thus signaling the beginning of thrilling battles.

The reading of Guidelines in Lip Sync Battle Recalyn was delivered by Kate C. Villaram, thereby leading the contest proper for the Character Impersonation and Lip Sync Battle. And lastly, the event concluded with the announcement of winners, with the crowd cheering for the best performers.

Maulan at makulimlim ang kalangitan, hindi nagpatinag ang mga bumubusilak na kalooban ng mga Jaronian na ipamalas ang kanilang wagas na pagmamahal at taos-pusong pasasalamat sa mga dakilang bayani ng Jaro National High School (JNHS), na itinuturing nilang pangalawang magulang, noong ika-29 ng Setyembre 2025, sa makabuluhang pagdiriwang na Araw ng mga G**o.

Naghanda ng mga natatanging sorpresa at aktibidad ang mga masigasig na opisyal ng Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), katuwang ang iba't ibang organisasyon ng paaralan at mga konseho ng bawat baitang, bilang pagpapakita ng kanilang mataas na paggalang at pagpapahalaga sa mga g**o. Tampok sa pagdiriwang ang makukulay at makahulugang pagtatanghal na inihanda ng mga piling mag-aaral na nagpamalas ng kanilang pagtanaw ng utang na loob. Kabilang dito ang masisiglang sayaw, sabayang pagbigkas, madamdaming dula, at mga awit na inialay bilang sukli sa kanilang hirap at pagod.

Sa indak ng sayaw, bigkas ng tula, at himig ng musika, bakas sa mga mukha ng mga g**o ang tuwa at pasasalamat sa mainit na pagpapahalagang ipinadama sa kanila. Bukod sa mga pagtatanghal, naghanda rin ang mga opisyal ng SSLG ng mga pasabog na palaro at raffle na lalong nagpasigla sa selebrasyon, kung saan napuno ng halakhakan at hiyawan ang covered gym ng JNHS. Bilang simbolo ng pasasalamat, ipinagkaloob din ng mga mag-aaral na kinatawan mula ika-7 hanggang ika-12 baitang ang mga regalo na sinamahan ng mga liham ng pagpapahalaga para sa mga g**o at kawani ng paaralan. Nang magdapithapon, patuloy pa rin ang selebrasyon kung saan lahat ng mga g**o ay nagkakatuwaan, masayang nagkukuwentuhan, at pinagsasaluhan ang mga alaala ng araw na iyon.
Ang selebrasyong idinaos sa JNHS ay hindi lamang isang simpleng pagsasalo-salo, kundi isang makabuluhang pagbibigay-pugay sa mahalagang papel ng mga g**o sa paghubog ng isipan at kinabukasan ng mga Jaronian.

On September 23, 2025, Jaro National High School officially commenced Hinampang 2025, under the theme “Play to Power: Transforming Lives Through Sports and Wellness,” with the objectives to promote unity, celebrate sports, foster teamwork, and improve the physical health of every student within the institution.

With the MAPEH Department spearheading the event, and Ma’am Ma. Jhea Faith Hafundar and Sir Mark Darren D. Alonzo serving as the Masters of Ceremonies, it kicked off at exactly 9 am with a campus parade led by the Citizenship Advancement Training (CAT) unit, followed by other student-led organizations, and the Grade 7-12 Council, with every student yelling out their prepared cheers and yells, with the noise signifying the merry start of the celebration.

The official program then began with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and JNHS Hymn led by the MAPEH teachers, along with a prayer rendered by Sir Steven Lejando S. Salmon and Ma’am Chin Marie A. Salmon, which was then followed by Ma’am Melanie J. Tabaculde, School Principal IV, welcoming the guests and participants with her opening remarks, highlighting the importance of sports not only as physical activity but also as a medium for discipline, leadership, and school pride.

After this, Sir Raquel C. Aranclilo III, MT I, Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the MAPEH Department, introduced the following guest speakers: Education Program Supervisor Freddie C. Gallardo and Hon. Julienne “Jam Jam” L. Baronda, Congresswoman of Iloilo City Lone District, who gave their enthusiastic messages about the event.

The institution then witnessed the raising of banners, which went from the school banner, sports banner, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), and the council banners all together.

Adding a symbolic highlight, the lighting of the urn was led by student-athletes John Michael A. Donaldo and Kristian Kyle P. Tañon, marking the official opening of the sports festivities, this was succeeded by the declaration of Hinampang 2025 by Principal Tabaculde and the ceremonial tossing of the ball, a gesture that signaled the start of all competitions.

Oaths of athletes and officials were sworn, with Ma’am Engel May R. Centino and Ma’am Jinrose C. Loruega leading, ensuring fairness, integrity, and sportsmanship throughout the weeklong event, and then the council participants from Grades 7 to 12 were also formally introduced, emphasizing the inclusive spirit of Hinampang.

Came along this is the intermission number featuring a performance from the WVSU College of PESCAR BPED, while Ma’am Chin Marie A. Salmon introduced the board of judges for the upcoming Wellness Dance Competition participated in by all councils, and the guidelines were then laid out, building anticipation for one of the program’s signature events.

Not to be left behind, the program also allotted space for fun and camaraderie through the Hinampang for Teachers segment, which includes activities like Pick Ladder, Volleyball Tennis Play, and Palibun and Palyok, bridging sports and enjoyment not just for students but for faculty as well.

With Hinampang 2025 officially launching and continuing over the week, students and teachers alike are expected to embody the true essence of the event: playing not just to compete, but to transform lives through wellness, unity, and the power of sports.

Makulay at makabuluhang na iniraos ng Departmento ng Filipino at KaMagFil Officers ang iba't ibang aktibidad sa Jaro National High School (JNHS) upang ipagdiwang ang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2025, noong ika-29 ng Agosto, na may temang “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.”

Umalingawngaw ang hiyawan at sigawan ng mga Jaronian habang buong pusong sinusuportahan ang kanilang mga kinatawan sa loob ng covered gym ng JNHS. Tampok sa programa ang mga iba't ibang aktibidad kung saan ipinamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang abilidad sa larangan ng Pagguhit, Pagsulat ng Sanaysay, Masining na Pagkukwento at Tagisan ng Talino.

Mula simula hanggang dulo, naging mainit ang labanan ng mga Jaronian at matutunghayan ang kanilang kadakilaan at kahusayan, habang buong determinasyong sinusubukang sungkitin ang tagumpay para sa kinatawang kanilang kinabibilangan. Hindi rin nagpatumpik-tumpik pa ang Departmento ng Filipino at ang organisasyon ng KaMagFil na maglunsad ng aktibidad para sa mga marikit na mutya ng bawat baitang. Isang paligsahan na hindi lamang sumusukat ng kagandahan, kundi maging sa talas ng isipan. Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, itinanghal ang Mutya ng Wika 2025, na nagsilbing tampok na bahagi ng selebrasyon at sumalamin sa tunay na diwa ng kultura at kagandahang Pilipina.

Nagbigay-buhay din sa programa ang mga piling mag-aaral na naghanda ng mga pagtatanghal na sumasalamin sa kasaysayan at kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino. Maayos ang naging daloy ng programa at napuno ng kasiyahan at hiyawan hanggang sa pagtatapos ng selebrasyon, lalo na sa pag-anunsyo ng mga nagwaging baitang sa iba't ibang paligsahan.

Throughout history, fire was once a mystery, electricity a curiosity, and nuclear power something that’s unstoppable. On September 5, 2025, the science month commenced its activities, the Science Exhibit by the grade level curriculum and Grade 11-Nephtoah, and the Science Writing Contest.

Grade-level curriculum showcased their scientific skills in a science exhibit through different branches of science, including chemistry, technology, and even physics. Exhibitors really did harness the unknown as their scientific and innovative works sparked amazement and curiosity among the student body.

Thus, another activity—the science writing—is where students showcase their love of science writing. Participants are given a theme to write on: “Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future Through Science and Innovation.” Participants also delve into the unknown, finding solutions on how to power the future. Science writing is no easy task, as you need the love for both science and writing.

To sum it up, the September 5, 2025, of the Jaro National High School became one of the resounding day for the Jaronians. Students are amazed at what science can do and are ready to harness or to delve into the unknown. This day, the students fuel their innovative minds and wake up their inner scientists.

On August 31, 2025, at 8:00 A.M, the Jaro National High School held a teacher's conference and portfolio day for the first quarter of the school year 2025-2026 in the institute's covered gym.

The orientation was led by Sir Harley S. Sollano and followed by a prayer led by Ma'am Angelica T. Madiclum.

We are then welcomed by our school's principal, Ma'am Melinie J. Tabaculde, and Hon. Alma. T Caro further addressed SPTA concerns in the program, followed by the awarding ceremony of our dedicated awardees.

The orientation program ended with closing remarks led by Sir John H. Abaygar, to which was followed by the portfolio day, where the guardians of the students looked through the works of the children in their respective classrooms.

Sa Pilipinas, ang Hulyo ay idineklara bilang National Nutrition Month sa bisa ng Presidential Decree No. 491, na kilala rin bilang Nutrition Act of the Philippines. Ang taunang pagdiriwang na ito ay naglalayon na itaas ang kamalayan ng publiko tungkol sa kahalagahan ng mabuting nutrisyon. Pinangunahan ng National Nutrition Council (NNC) ang kampanya sa buong bansa para isulong ang Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) at hikayatin ang mga Pilipino na unahin ang seguridad sa pagkain at nutrisyon.

Ang Nutrition Month ay pagdiriwang upang bigyang halaga ang ating kalusugan ituro ang tama at sapat na nutrition sa ating nasasakupan, bigyan gabay ang mga nanay upang pangalagaan ang kanikang anak sa sinapupunan pa lng hanggang sa pagtanda

High School nitong Hulyo 30, 2025. Isa sa mga highlights ng pagdiriwang ay ang 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. Rumampa suot ang mga damit na ni-recycle na mga plastic bottles at mga gulay ang mga mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang baitang.

Jaro National High School brought energy, unity, and celebration to life during its much-anticipated Jaro Acquaintance and Music Festival, JAM FEST 2025, held on August 1 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the school’s covered court under the unifying theme “Bringing Beats, Building Bonds,” which aimed to foster camaraderie, showcase student talent, and mark a vibrant beginning to the academic year.

The masters of ceremony, Jethro G Servando and Jephsay Rose C Juen, commenced the program with a formal opening that reflected the school’s commitment to tradition and respect, starting with the National Anthem led by Crisella J. Sumog-oy, followed by a prayer by Angelica A. Delgado, the singing of the JNHS Hymn by Kaye Carol B. Celeste, and the welcome address delivered by School Principal Melanie J. Tabaculde, who underscored the value of unity, active participation, and mutual respect among all members of the school community.

One of the program’s significant portions was the induction of newly elected student leaders and club officers, led by Concilio T. Bonilla EPS of SGOD, marking a formal recognition of student governance and responsibility and signaling the importance of leadership and involvement in shaping a strong school culture.

As the momentum built up, the audience was treated to a cultural intermission performance by the Salog Dance Troupe, after which Renzan A. Altamera clearly outlined the contest mechanics for the audience and participants, while Kian Leonor L. Number introduced the esteemed judges whose expertise added credibility and rigor to the upcoming competition segments.

The contest proper, hosted by John Mark S. Villa and Ma. Isalyn C. Pautan ignited excitement and enthusiasm as the Battle of the Bands segment filled the venue with rhythm and sound, giving student musicians a platform to express creativity and collaboration through music, followed by the TikTok Dance Craze competition, where selected dance groups brought energy and style to the stage through synchronized and trend-based performances that captivated the audience.

This was then followed with the awarding ceremony that celebrated the efforts and excellence of participants, including the winners of both competitions, serving as a meaningful tribute to students’ talent, discipline, and confidence in performance and presentation, and acknowledgment was then given by Mr. John H. Abaygar, Head Teacher IV of the Araling Panlipunan Department, recognizing the judges and committees whose dedication, coordination, and support contributed to the overall success of the event.

Abaygar, with the combined efforts of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government, the event coordinators Mrs April Grace L Ibunia and Darlene Rose H Alcalde, and the numerous committees in charge of technical support, documentation, food, merchandise, ushering, and crowd management, as well as the tireless support of teachers, scout leaders, and school security personnel.

This year’s acquaintance festival once again affirmed Jaro National High School’s dedication to holistic education, highlighting not only academic excellence but also the importance of creativity, leadership, cultural expression, and strong interpersonal bonds in nurturing well-rounded learners who are active participants in their school and community
