PHINMA-UI padayon nga nagatanyag sang scholarship sa mga incoming first year students ilabe na sa mga 4Ps beneficiaries

ILOILO CITY -- Ilabe pa nga ginpalapad sang PHINMA-University of Iloilo ang Student Support Programs sa tunga sang nagamahal nga balaklon kag kagastuhanan sang mga estudyante.

Ini bilang kabahin sang “Kaupod sa Padayon” nga kampanya sang unibersidad agud mahaylo ang mga estudyante nga magpadayon sa pag-eskwela kag makumpleto ang kolehiyo sa tunga sang kapigaduhon.

Ang PHINMA-UI kag Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 6 nagpirma sang Memorandum of Agreement agud mapabaskog ang “Hawak Kamay Scholarship Program.”

Gindesinyo ang programa para sa mga incoming first year college students ilabe na sa mga benepisyaryo sang Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

Sa idalom sini, ang estudyante makabaton sang 80% nga scholarship grants.

“The Hawak Kamay Scholarship is our way of ensuring that deserving students can continue their studies without being hindered by financial difficulties,” suno kay Mr. Martin Benedict Perez nga Chief Operating Officer sang PHINMA-UI.

Gindayaw naman sang DSWD ang programa sang unibersidad tungod paagi sini madamo ang mahatagan sang kahigayunan nga makatapos sa pag-eskwela.

A little late to the feed, but never late on the mission! Last March 31, 2026, the CHED Regional Office VI team conducted a comprehensive monitoring and regulatory visit at the University of Iloilo.

Regulatory visits are more than just "checks"—they are a collaborative effort to ensure that our Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) continue to provide the highest standards of academic excellence and student services for our Ilonggo learners.

Highlights of the Visit:
• Standards Assessment: Reviewing academic programs to ensure they meet national benchmarks.
• Quality Assurance: Partnering with UI leadership to identify strengths and areas for continued growth.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring a safe, conducive, and high-quality learning environment for all students.
