ANNOUNCEMENT!

In accordance with the Student Organizations Policies and Guidelines of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), all recognized student organizations are hereby required to submit the necessary documents for the Accreditation of Student Organization Officers for Academic Year 2026–2027.
The accreditation process aims to ensure that all duly elected officers meet the University's qualifications and that student organizations operate in accordance with institutional policies, promoting responsible leadership, accountability, and effective student governance.
I. Organizations Covered
This memorandum applies to all recognized campus-based student organizations, including but not limited to:
• Agriculture and Forestry Student Council
•Agriculture Student Council
•Forestry Student Council
•Ang Amihan
•Sine-Marilit
•CAF-ERT
•Sports Council
•CAF Chorale
•Alpha Zeta Fraternity
•Sigma Alpha Epsilon
•All other duly recognized academic, socio-civic, cultural, religious, and special interest organizations
II. Documentary Requirements
The following documents shall be submitted for the accreditation of organization officers:
1. Organizational Profile (WVSU-OSA-S01-03-F03)
2. List of Student Organization Officers for Incoming School Year (WVSU-OSA-S01-03-F04)
3. List of Student Organization Members for Incoming School Year (WVSU-OSA-S01-03-F05)
4. Accomplishment Report for the Previous School Year (WVSU-OSA-S01-03-F06)
5. Financial Statement (WVSU-OSA-S01-03-F07)
6. Calendar of Activities (WVSU-OSA-S01-03-F08)
7. Updated Constitution and By-Laws (if amended)
8. Original or Certified True Copy of Grades of all elected officers for the previous semester

III. Submission Guidelines
• All documents shall be submitted in two (2) complete sets.
• Submit the complete documentary requirements to the Office of Student Affairs.Only organizations with complete requirements shall be endorsed for accreditation and recognition.
• Submission Deadline: August 20, 2026. (Thursday)
IV. Important Reminders
• Student organizations that fail to comply with the prescribed requirements within the specified deadline shall not be recognized for Academic Year 2026–2027.
• Unaccredited organizations and their officers shall not be permitted to recruit members, conduct meetings, organize activities, receive university support, or officially represent the College or the University until their accreditation has been approved.
• Organizations with incomplete submissions will be advised to complete the lacking requirements before accreditation can be processed.

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) of the West Visayas State University – College of Agriculture and Forestry (WVSU-CAF) is now accepting applications for the Student Assistant Program for Academic Year 2026–2027.

If you are a responsible, dedicated, and hardworking student who wishes to gain valuable work experience while supporting your educational journey, this is your opportunity to become part of our dynamic team.

📌 Available Slots: 4 Student Assistants

📋 Qualifications

Applicants must:
✅ Be currently enrolled at WVSU-CAF for Academic Year 2026–2027.
✅ Be responsible, punctual, and willing to follow office policies and instructions.
✅ Preferably possess basic knowledge and skills in office work, such as, filing documents, data encoding, assisting office personnel, basic computer operations

Please prepare and submit the following:
📌 Letter of Intent addressed to the Head, Office of Student Affairs
📌 Barangay Certificate of Indigency
📌 Copy of Class Schedule
📌 For Continuing Students: Certificate of Grades
📌 For First-Year Students: Certificate of Registration (COR)

ANNOUNCEMENT!

ELECTION OF HOMEROOM AND RECOGNIZED STUDENT ORGANIZATION OFFICERS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2026–2027

In preparation for the implementation of student leadership programs and activities for Academic Year 2026–2027, all classes and recognized student organizations are hereby directed to conduct the Election of Homeroom Officers and Recognized Student Organization Officers.

The election aims to select competent, responsible, and dedicated student leaders who will represent their respective classes and organizations and uphold the University's mission, vision, and core values. The election shall be conducted in a democratic, transparent, and orderly manner under the supervision of the respective Class Advisers and Faculty Advisers.

The following schedule shall be strictly observed:

August 03–05, 2026 (Monday–Wednesday)-Election of Homeroom Officers and Recognized Student Organization Officers

August 06, 2026 (Thursday)-Submission of the Official List of Newly Elected Officers

Faculty Advisers are requested to supervise the conduct of the election and ensure that all submitted documents are complete, accurate, and endorsed accordingly.

The timely submission of the list of officers is essential to facilitate the recognition of student leaders and the planning and implementation of student activities for Academic Year 2026–2027.

🌾📢 TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM (TDP) NOW OPEN! 🎓

The Office of Senator Francis “Kiko” N. Pangilinan, in partnership with CHED-UniFast, is now accepting applications for the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) for Agricultural Students and Extension Workers.

This educational grant provides ₱7,500.00 per semester (₱15,000.00 for A.Y. 2026–2027) to qualified students who are undertaking extension work, OJT/internship, or research extension activities in farming and fishing communities.

📝 The TDP Application Form is available at the Office of Student Affairs (OSA).

📌 Documentary Requirements:

✅ Duly accomplished TDP Application Form (issued by the CHED-UniFast Office)
✅ Certificate of Registration (COR)
✅ Official Study Load showing OJT/Extension subject (if available)
✅ Certificate of Indigency
✅ Photocopy of a valid Government ID and/or School ID

If a Certificate of Indigency cannot be issued, you may submit either: • Certificate of Tax Exemption
• Social Case Study
