June 12, 2026 – In celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day with the theme “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan” (Freedom, Future, History), the 872nd NROTC Unit of NISU Concepcion, led by CPO Dodie P. De La Cruz PN(RES) as Assistant Training Staff, along with the ROTC cadets, proudly augmented the Municipality of Concepcion's Independence Day Program. The unit rendered a Parade and ceremonially presented the Entrance of Colors, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service.

Their participation reflected the core values of patriotism, leadership, and civic responsibility, honoring the sacrifices of our national heroes while inspiring the youth to uphold the ideals of freedom and nation-building.

Through discipline, coordination, and professionalism, the ROTC cadets successfully carried out their assigned duties, ensuring the solemnity, order, and smooth flow of the ceremony while upholding the values of patriotism, leadership, and service.

April 25, 2026 – The 872nd NROTC Unit of NISU Concepcion Campus successfully conducted a Coastal Clean-Up Drive, led by Corps Commander Roniel Zamora and GMA Officer SN2 Joey B. Desamero PN(Res), with the support of NSTP Coordinator Asst. Prof. Richard D. Jardenil. This activity forms part of the unit’s continuing commitment to community service and environmental stewardship.

The cadets demonstrated unity and discipline in collecting and properly disposing of waste along the shoreline, contributing to the preservation of the area’s natural beauty and environmental health. The activity highlighted their cooperation, sense of responsibility, and dedication to protecting the environment for future generations.
