NATIONAL HEROES' DAY - Regular National Holiday

Please be informed that in observance of National Heroes' Day, there will be no classes and office operations on Monday, August 31, 2026.

This regular national holiday is a time for our academic community to pause and honor the bravery, sacrifices, and enduring legacy of the heroes who fought for our nation's freedom and identity. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on their contributions to our country.

ILOILO CHARTER DAY - Special (Non-Working) Day

In line with Proclamation No. 1388, s. 2026, August 25, 2026 (Tuesday) is declared a Special Non-Working Day in Iloilo City in celebration of Iloilo Charter Day.

In observance of this important occasion, classes and regular school operations will be suspended tomorrow. Previously approved activities may proceed as scheduled.

We encourage everyone to join in commemorating this meaningful celebration and to continue honoring the rich history, culture, and progress of Iloilo City.

SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

Following the announcement of the City Mayor on the suspension of Face-to-Face classes tomorrow, August 19, 2026, alternative learning modes will be implemented for Pre School to Senior High School.

Classes in the Tertiary level shall resume tomorrow, including clinical areas and activities.

As conditions vary from one area to another, students who are unable to travel to school shall be given due consideration, subject to proper advisement with their respective faculty or instructors.

Regular office operations will resume tomorrow.

Please be guided accordingly.

SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

As announced and declared by Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Trenas, Classes in ALL LEVELS are suspended today, August 18, 2026 due to the persistent inclement weather and flooding in many areas of the City.

As appropriate, alternative delivery modes of learning will be used as determined by the respective Deans and their departments. The same shall apply to clinical areas.

Office transactions in the morning are likewise suspended.

Buildings and Grounds,Maintenance, Security and essential personnel shall, however, report for work to secure and safeguard the campus.

Everyone is advised to monitor for updates and further announcements.
