This study dives deep into the wild world of plant adaptation, investigating how environmental parameters like altitude, temperature, and soil pH shape the chemical defense strategies of these extraordinary plants across elevational gradients. From the mountains to the lowlands, these findings are opening up exciting new insights into the complex chemical diversity of endemic Philippine /Begonia/ species!

ChemiCARE 2026: Hatid Agham, Hatid Kalinga was more than an outreach—it was a living testament that when knowledge is shared with compassion, it transforms lives. In a space filled with laughter, curiosity, and genuine connection, we witnessed how science can become a bridge—bringing people together, sparking wonder in young minds, and nurturing hope in the community.

Every experiment conducted, every lesson shared, and every smile exchanged carried a deeper purpose. What seemed like simple activities—mixing solutions, demonstrating proper hygiene, giving small tokens—became moments of learning, empowerment, and care. It reminded us that education is most powerful when it is felt, experienced, and shared with others.
More than anything, this initiative showed us that service goes beyond fulfilling a task—it is about showing up with heart, choosing to give even when it is inconvenient, and finding joy in seeing others grow.
