The Office of Civil Defense 6 (OCD 6) reminds the public to remain vigilant as haze affects several areas in the Philippines, potentially affecting air quality and posing health risks, particularly to vulnerable individuals.

Haze may cause irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat and may worsen existing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

To help protect yourself and your loved ones:

🔹 Monitor air quality through official government advisories.
🔹 Limit prolonged outdoor activities in areas affected by haze.
🔹 Wear a well-fitting mask when going outdoors.
🔹 Stay indoors when possible and keep doors and windows closed.
🔹 Protect vulnerable groups, especially children, older persons, and those with respiratory or cardiovascular conditions.
🔹 Stay informed and follow guidance from authorities.
