This year, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints celebrates 60 years in the Philippines. When it started in 1961, the Church had about 100 members in the country. Today, the Philippines is home to over 800,000 Latter-day Saints.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being mindful of us. It brings so much comfort to know that You are watching over us. I pray You keep me in the circle of Your blessing and protection. Away from the evil ones and from everything that pulls me away from You.
The entertainment I choose and materials I lay my eyes on. My associations and every affiliation. All of these, I fully submit to You.
Cause me to always choose the path that leads to You and stay away from those that drives me far away from You.

Gospel: Luke 24: 35-48
'Why are you frightened’? Jesus is our consoler, He is the peacemaker! His wounded hands, feet and side are reminders of his incredible love for us and all of this wonderful creation.
Peace is not just the absence of conflict, but a deep sense of knowing all will be well! As he appears he so often says firstly ‘do not be afraid’!’ Am I fearful? Do I need to pray for trust in God, trust in my life, maybe an important relationship which is strained?
What is it like for me to be invited to touch his wounded hands, feet or side? and allow me to be a bit more convinced of his profound love?
