Beyond clean-up drives and tree planting, how do we empower young people to understand the systems shaping our environmental realities?

Honored to be part of the Kasaligan Leadership Summit for the Calumpang River Watershed alongside environmental leaders, governance practitioners, and fellow advocates working toward long-term stewardship and youth engagement.

In my session, “Reframing Youth Action Beyond Reactive Environmental Programs,” we will explore how youth leadership can move from short-term reactive participation toward systems-oriented and futures-driven action.

Together, we will unpack: Systems Thinking and Futures Thinking 101 understanding the interconnected root causes and helping young people imagine and shape regenerative futures for generations yet to come

Through ThinkLAB Innovations, we continue to explore how futures, systems, and sustainability can help cultivate a generation of youth leaders who are not only aware of today’s problems, but capable of designing long-term solutions with communities.

Because the future is not something we simply inherit. It is something we consciously build together.
