As the new playlist began to crank up with different rhythms and sounds, the pulsating rock of the Electronics Engineering Department is about to electrify this year's CEA General Assembly with a theme, "The Sound of Music: Dinggin ang Aming Musika", to be held on August 19.

With different colours and unique identities, the provocative rock is about to pave the way and showcase its roaring grit as it blazes a trail into a new era where an unused playlist begins to soar, coming together for the immersive musical experience of the unified genres.

Show off your engineering pride and innovative style! The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – Iloilo Science and Technology University Student Chapter is officially launching our T-Shirt Design Contest!

Stand a chance to win a Grand Prize of PHP 500 and see your artwork worn by the department as our official T-shirt! 👕✨

📋 General Guidelines:
Eligibility: Open to all year levels; participants must be bonafide BS Electronics Engineering students of ISAT U.

Shirt Color: BLUE will be used as the shirt's color for the design.

Theme & Format: A minimalistic and innovative theme stressing electronics engineering must be used. Participants must provide designs for both the front and back of the shirt.

Logos: The IECEP ISAT U Logo may be used, but ISAT U logo is NOT allowed in the design.

File Requirements: Submit your design in PNG format. File name format should include your last name and year level (Example: Design-RESOLGWAPO-4A).

Deadline: AUGUST 17, 2026 – 11:59 PM

Shift + Solve of the Electronics Engineering students of Iloilo Science and Technology University, has secured a spot among the top 6 finalists of the 2026 AI Fest AI in Motion Robotics Workshop and Competition after showcasing exceptional technical skills and innovative minds, held August 3-5.

The team is composed of Elcyn Andrew Booc, Paul Nathaniel Rosale, Victorino Pintor, Kurt Russel Morano, and Avril Nadine Tono with their mentor, Engr. Marvin De Pedro.

The AI Fest AI in Motion Robotics Workshop and Competition aimed to enhance participants' innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence that will showcase the exciting possibilities of robotics and artificial intelligence.

Aside from the AI in Motion Robotics Workshop and Competition, this years AI Fest is also comprise of different other competitions including Technical Research Presentations, SineAI, AI Game On!, and AI Hackathon.

Exhibiting innovation and collaboration, Electronics Engineering students of Iloilo Science and Technology University named among the top 5 finalists in the 2026 AI Fest AI Hackathon, held August 3-5.

The exceptional minds that formed the team named as S2N (Signal to Noise) are Kurk Ervin Z. Madera, Ronie A. Efundo, Josh Gabriel B Hantea, John Elflo G. Deoncampo, and Herbie M. Obligacion through the guidance of their coach Engr. Roylin Ta-asan.

Among the 47 other participating teams from various universities across the country, S2N has made it far and was able to secure a spot among the five finalists.

This event aims to gather participants across the country to build AI-powered solutions for real-world problems. Other than AI Hackathon, this years AI Fest is also comprise of different other competitions including Technical Research Presentations, SineAI, AI Game On!, and AI in Motion.
