The 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗔𝗦𝗖) 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗵 is more than just something you wear—it is a story of our roots, our heritage, our passion, and our pride in agriculture. At the heart of the shirt design stands the 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗶𝗴 (𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼), an iconic native pig of the Philippines, illustrated in bold forest green. It symbolizes 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲, and the beauty of our local biodiversity—a reminder to recognize, preserve, and value what is native and uniquely our own. Paired with its detailed profile, it reflects the knowledge we cultivate as 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗸𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮 — to know, to understand, to preserve, and to sustain.

For Ma’am Grets Gabinete of the College of Agriculture and Forestry, teaching is a journey of nurturing learners and witnessing the impact of lessons that stay with them long after graduation. With 38 years in the profession, she finds fulfillment in hearing from former students who share how her guidance, mentoring, and encouragement have helped shape their journeys.

As a passionate, dedicated, and nurturing educator, Ma’am Grets reminds fellow teachers to teach with purpose, keep learning, and never lose sight of the person behind every student. Through integrity, compassion, and a willingness to grow alongside her learners, she continues to make a lasting difference and transform generations.

We are pleased to announce that 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨. 002 adopting the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲-𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 (𝗜𝗚𝗣) of the Agriculture Student Council (ASC), has been officially approved.

This resolution supports the implementation of the ASC’s proposed IGP and official merchandise, which aim to generate funds for student programs, projects, and activities.
