40𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝘿𝙎𝘼 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮: 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙮, 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚

The Epifanio de los Santos Avenue became more that just a high way in February 1986—it opens the new chapter in history of the Philippines. It also became the heart of courage and freedom. Millions of Filipinos from all walks of life, stood side by side in peaceful protest, united by one dream: to fight for their rights and to restore democracy. They faced uncertainty and fear, yet they chose bravery. They we're armed not with weapons, but with prayers, hope, and unity. They showed the world the true strength of a people determined to reclaim their voice.

For 14 years of Martial Law, the nation endured hardship under the rule of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. The cry for change grew louder with each passing day and the EDSA People Power Revolution became a turning point, proving that leadership comes not from force, but from the trust of the people. Through collective action and unwavering faith, Filipinos stood firm in their belief that freedom was worth fighting for—peacefully, bravely, and together.

Until now, for the 40th Anniversary of EDSA People Power Revolution, the spirit remains alive in the heart of every Filipino. It serves as a reminder to the youth that freedom is not simply given, but fought for and protected. EDSA is not only a memory of the past, but an inspiration for the present and a hope for the future—a proof that the strength of a nation comes from its people.
