This outreach highlights the enduring bond within the Lycean customs community, proving that the commitment to mutual aid remains a core value of the association long after graduation. By mobilizing resources to assist their own colleagues, the LCAA and its partners have reinforced a vital network of support that ensures no member of the customs administration family is left behind during times of recovery.

In a continued show of solidarity with CCBI National, CCBI Northern Mindanao, and the Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students (PSCAS), the initiative provided meals and essential supplies to local mosques, reinforcing a commitment to service during the holy month.

This collaborative effort by customs professionals and students not only addressed immediate needs but also strengthened the bonds of fellowship within the region, demonstrating the enduring impact of collective civic action.

The Lycean Customs Alumni Association (LCAA) recently spearheaded a meaningful Iftar drive to support the local communities of Tambacan and Mahayahay in Iligan City. Held in close collaboration with the Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. (CCBI) National, CCBI Northern Mindanao, and the Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students (PSCAS), the initiative aimed to foster a spirit of unity and generosity during the holy month of Ramadan. By providing nutritious meals to residents, the partner organizations sought to alleviate local needs while strengthening the bonds between customs professionals, students, and the communities they serve.

This joint effort highlights the commitment of the customs administration sector to impactful corporate social responsibility and grassroots engagement. Beyond the immediate distribution of food, the event served as a platform for the LCAA and its partners to demonstrate their dedication to civic duty and regional solidarity. Through the collective resources and volunteer efforts of the CCBI and PSCAS, the drive successfully reached numerous families, reinforcing a shared vision of service and compassion within the city.

The Lycean Customs Alumni Association is proud to announce that its ongoing "Call for Donations" has successfully raised PHP 68,500 to date, all of which will be directly funneled into humanitarian initiatives.

These funds are being allocated toward the Bagyong Basyang Wave 2 Relief Effort, as well as the Iftar Program and the procurement of essential supplies for designated mosques in Barangays Tambacan and Mahayahay, Iligan City.

On February 5 to 7, 2026, Iligan City once again faced a disaster that affected many families.
The LCAA – Lycean Customs Alumni Association initiated a donation drive to support our fellow alumni who were affected by Bagyong Basyang. Through your generosity, we were able to collect a total of P17,500. The donations were distributed on February 9, 2026, in the form of relief goods along with a small amount of financial assistance.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the donors who opened their hearts to help. May Allah Bless you abundantly for your good hearts and willingness to help.
Special thanks to our supportive former Dean of the College of Customs, Ma’am Sheriejaney Dela Peña, as well as Sir Hakim Bangcola, Sir Abu Said, Sir Jamiel Panalondong, and our fellow alumni who extended their support to distribute the goods. Maraming salamat po.
We also pray for the fast recovery of all our kababayan across the Philippines who were affected by Bagyong Basyang.

📦 Packing and Distribution of Relief Goods

Over the course of two days, we had the humble privilege of preparing and distributing relief goods to Lyceum of Iligan Foundation students and other affected families of Brgy. Tambacan and Brgy. Mahayahay. This effort was done with care, respect, and compassion for everyone we reached. While our support may be small compared to the challenges faced, we hope it brings comfort, encouragement, and hope during these difficult times.

We are deeply thankful to the generous donors whose contributions made this possible. Your kindness has provided important support to those in need and shows the compassion and unity of our community.

We also sincerely thank our dedicated volunteers, whose time, effort, and selfless service during these two days ensured that every relief package was prepared and delivered with care and respect. Your commitment and teamwork have touched the lives of many.

To the affected students and families, please know that you are not alone. This support comes with our care, prayers, and solidarity. We hope it brings comfort, hope, and encouragement as you face these challenges.

The Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students - Lyceum of Iligan Foundation Chapter (PSCAS - LIF) is extending its support to the families and individuals affected by Bagyong Basyang in Iligan City. In response to the recent calamity, we are now accepting monetary and in-kind donations to help provide immediate relief and assistance to our fellow Iliganons.

The typhoon has caused significant damage to various communities, leaving many families in need of basic necessities such as food, clean drinking water, and hygiene supplies. Through this donation drive, PSCAS - LIF aims to help ease their situation and offer hope during this difficult time.
