KASAMA Convenes with COO and CVG to Address Key FEMSUSSCO Matters
A landmark consultative meeting took place today as the Council of Organizations (CO) and the Council of Vice Governors (CVG) convened with KASAMA to deliberate on critical matters concerning the Federation of MSU Supreme Student Councils (FEMSUSSCO).
Under the proactive leadership of President Dave Andrei A. Garbanzos, the session focused on a series of strategic proposals aimed at enhancing student welfare and refining the MSU system's governance. From academic policies to student-led initiatives, every proposal was met with a spirit of collaboration and foresight.
A fruitful discussion that bridges the gap between our different councils was the result, ensuring that the voice of every MSUan is not just heard, but acted upon. We are moving forward with a unified vision for a more responsive and inclusive federation.

Letโs choose courage over silence.
Letโs choose respect over harm.
Letโs choose to protect every student.

We are pleased to share that the MSU-IIT Gymnasium has successfully concluded its role as a temporary shelter. As of 8:00 AM today onwards (continuously doing so up until now), all families who sought refuge with us have been safely escorted back to their respective Barangays and homes via university vehicles.
Additionally, the evacuees in the gym received a comprehensive medical checkup courtesy of the City Health Office (CHO), validations from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and medical assistance by CHO and Red Cross Youth. Each family was also provided with food to eat for breakfast and early lunch and was provided with packed relief goods to help them settle back in.
While the gymnasium is now closed to evacuees, the recovery phase is just beginning. Our operations have shifted to the Multipurpose Hall, where we are still actively accepting donations to support those affected.
