𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬: Pursuant to the City Ordinance No. 05-4825 from the City Government of Iligan and the following announcement of the Adventist Medical Center College (AMCC) Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, all AMCC students, faculty, and staff are informed that there will be no classes on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 as it is declared as a 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆.

On this day, September 17, 2026, we join the global community in celebrating 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 as a reminder that safe and quality healthcare begins with a shared commitment to protecting every patient.

Patient safety is at the heart of nursing. It calls for careful hands, attentive minds, responsible actions, and compassionate hearts. Every assessment, every procedure, and every decision we make carries the responsibility of ensuring the well-being of those entrusted to our care.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬: Pursuant to an Excerpt from the Minutes of the Meeting of the Adventist Medical Center College (AMCC) Administrative Committee Meeting held on September 8, 2026, all AMCC students are informed that an Academic Mental Health Break will be observed from September 27 to October 2, 2026. There will be no academic activities during the said dates to provide students with time for break.

May our stock knowledge be enough,

For those who are constantly reminding “nagtuon na ba mo?” on your friends or group chats while opening countless tabs and different reviewers at the same time wanting to be reassured or pressured, and still questioning life, we’re all in this together.

1. Plan your study habit.

2. Skip the difficult questions and answer the easy ones first.

3. Stock Knowledge is key.

4. Study hard, pray harder.

Today, we celebrate 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 as we remember the brave Filipinos who fought, served, and made sacrifices for our country. Their courage and love for the Philippines gave us the priviledge to enjoy the freedom and opportunities we have today. Their stories will always remind us of what it means to stand up for something bigger than ourselves.

But heroes are not only the ones we read about in our history books. They can also be found in our everyday lives; our parents and family who work hard and sacrifice for us, teachers who patiently guide us, healthcare workers who care for others, workers who provide for their families, and friends and loved ones who stay by our side when things get hard. They may not always be recognized, but their efforts mean so much.

As we honor this day, let us remember that heroism can be found not only in history, but also in the people around us. Let us also appreciate the people who quietly made a difference in our lives. May we also be reminded that we can be heroes too, through kindness, courage, and helping others.

The time is now, manifest it! To our future RNs, as you take the August Philippine National Licensure Examination, we want you to know how proud we are of how far you’ve come. You’ve been through countless sleepless nights, difficult exams, tiring duties, return demonstrations, and moments when you probably questioned if you could really make it. But every experience, whether good or difficult, has helped prepare you for this moment.

You’ve worked so hard to get here, and now it’s time to trust not only what you’ve learned but also the journey that brought you here. There may have been times when things didn’t go as planned, but God has been with you through every challenge. Keep your faith, trust His plans, and remember that all your hard work and sacrifices have a purpose.

As you face the Licensure Examination, may God give you wisdom, strength, peace, and a clear mind. We’re praying for each one of you and cheering you on as you take this final step toward your dream. Soon, all those “𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘩𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘰 𝘯𝘪?” quiet self-doubts, tears poured, and the sleepless nights just to finish requirements will become part of a story you’ll be proud to tell.

In a strong display of academic excellence, the Adventist Medical Center College (AMCC) School of Nursing (SON) presented its academic research at the UVBEAMS 3rd International Research Conference, hosted by the University of the Visayas (UV), held on August 19 to 20, 2026, in Cebu City.

Leading the researchers, Dr. Ian Abordo earned the Best Presenter distinction in Cluster B: Education. Meanwhile, the Level 4 Student Nurses across four teams for Cluster E: Medical Health, also showcased their respective research, further strengthening AMCC SON’s commitment to advancing academic and medical research.

Centered on the theme: “Harnessing Research Frontiers: Innovation, Emerging Technologies, and Transformative Inquiry”. The two-day international conference gathered researchers across various disciplines and provided AMCC SON researchers the platform to demonstrate its dedication to collaborative academic excellence and interdisciplinary engagement.

With the international recognition added to its record, AMCC SON stays resolute in continuing its commitment in educational and healthcare research, carrying forward the essence of excellence while inspiring future nurse-researchers to champion evidence-based practice, translating groundbreaking research into meaningful healthcare solutions.
