Immaculate Conception Parish Peace Learning Center, Incorporated

In celebration of Fire Prevention Month, a short yet meaningful program was conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to promote fire safety awareness among students and teachers. The BFP personnel shared important fire safety tips and preventive measures that can be practiced at home and in school. They also introduced the different personal protective gear and equipment (PPE) used by firefighters and explained their importance during rescue and firefighting operations.
One of the highlights of the program was the demonstration of the proper use of a fire extinguisher using the TPASS technique, as well as the preparation of a fire truck before responding to a fire incident. The activity became more engaging through the active participation of students and teachers during the demonstrations.
The ICPPLC teachers and staff, led by the School Principal, express their sincere gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection Poblacion SND, LDN Chapter headed by SPO3 Florencio B. Sambra - Acting Municipal Fire Marshal together with his officers F03 Mohammad Yusop A. Dimaporo, FO2 Klarish Jane P. Pabadora, FO2 Mojib B. Bassir, FO1 Raymark C. Ometer, FO1 Raymund C. Ometer, FO1 Nick Ryan G. Sanco, and FO1 Jubaisa M. Abdul Ganie for sharing their knowledge and expertise, which greatly helped strengthen the school community’s awareness and preparedness in fire prevention and safety.
