Paradise lies under the feet of mothers.

In a world that celebrates mothers once a year, Islam teaches us to honor, respect, and care for them every single day. From the Qur’an to the sayings of the Prophet ﷺ, mothers hold a status of dignity, sacrifice, and mercy that should never be taken for granted.

May Allah reward all mothers, grant mercy to those who have passed away, and guide us to become better children. 🤍

SEEKING IN THE HIDDEN NIGHTS

“Indeed, We sent the Qur’an down during the Night of Decree.”
Qur’an 97:1

The search has begun.

Within these last ten nights lies a moment greater than a thousand months. Its exact night remains hidden, not to make it distant, but to invite the believer to seek it with persistence and sincerity.

This ayah reminds us that Laylatul Qadr is not only about reward. It is about the Qur’an — the night when guidance descended for humanity.

To seek this night is to return to the Book that was revealed within it.

Read the Qur’an with attention.
Stand in prayer with humility.
Ask Allah for forgiveness and mercy.

What may feel like an ordinary night could hold a reward greater than a lifetime.

WHEN THE NIGHTS BECOME PRECIOUS

“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.”
Qur’an 97:3

Tonight begins the last ten nights of Ramadan.

These nights carry a quiet weight. Among them is Laylatul Qadr — a night whose value surpasses a lifetime of ordinary worship. Yet its exact moment is hidden, inviting the believer to seek it with consistency rather than certainty.

This ayah reminds us that a single sincere night can transform years.

The last ten nights are not about exhaustion alone. They are about presence — showing up before Allah with humility, hope, and longing.

Stand a little longer in prayer.
Read a little more of the Qur’an.
Ask Allah for what only He can give.

Sometimes the greatest changes in a life begin in a single night.

ON THE EDGE OF THE LAST TEN

“And race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden as wide as the heavens and earth.”
Qur’an 3:133

Twenty days of Ramadan have passed.

The beginning is behind us, and the nights of greatest promise are near. The last ten days are not meant to be entered suddenly, but with hearts already prepared through steady worship.

This ayah calls the believer to move with urgency toward forgiveness. Not a rushed urgency born from panic, but a sincere eagerness to draw closer while the opportunity remains.

Ramadan does not stay long.

Renew your intention tonight.
Strengthen your prayer.
Prepare your heart for the nights ahead.

Those who enter the last ten with awareness are ready to receive what they carry.

WHEN CONSISTENCY MATTERS MOST

“And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty.”
Qur’an 15:99

By the nineteenth day, Ramadan begins to feel long.

The excitement of the beginning has passed, and the nights of greater promise are approaching. Between these moments lies the quiet stretch where consistency matters most.

This ayah reminds the believer that worship is not built on emotion alone. It continues through steadiness, even when energy dips and routine settles in.

Ramadan teaches that devotion is proven in the middle — when the heart chooses to continue.

Keep your prayers steady.
Keep your intentions sincere.
Let patience carry you forward.

What is sustained quietly prepares the heart for what is yet to come.

Women’s dignity is not a modern idea in Islam—it is divinely revealed.
Long before international observances, Allah already affirmed the honor, responsibility, and reward of believing women.

WHEN THE HEART SEEKS FORGIVENESS

“And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful.”
Qur’an 4:110

Ramadan has now moved beyond its middle.

The rhythm of fasting has settled, and the heart becomes more aware of its own shortcomings. This awareness is not meant to lead to guilt that weighs the soul down. It is meant to lead to return.

This ayah reminds us that no mistake closes the door to Allah. Forgiveness remains open for the one who turns back sincerely.

Ramadan is not only a month of discipline. It is a month of returning again and again.

Ask forgiveness without hesitation.
Release what you regret.
Trust in Allah’s mercy more than your past.

A heart that turns back to Allah in Ramadan is never turned away.

REMEMBERING VICTORY AND MERCY

“And Allah had already given you victory at Badr while you were few in number. So fear Allah that you may be grateful.”
Qur’an 3:123

Today in Ramadan marks the day of Badr.

It was on the seventeenth day of this month that a small and outnumbered group of believers stood in faith, trusting Allah when the outcome seemed uncertain. What followed was not victory through numbers, but victory through reliance.

Badr reminds us that strength in Islam does not begin with power. It begins with sincerity, patience, and trust that Allah sees what is hidden in the hearts of His servants.

Ramadan carries this same lesson.

Do not measure strength only by what is visible.
Stand firm even when you feel small.
Trust that sincerity outweighs numbers.

The One who granted victory to a few sincere hearts is the same One who hears every prayer in this month.

WHEN MERCY BRINGS EASE

“Whoever among you is ill or on a journey — then an equal number of other days. And for those who are able but with hardship, there is a ransom: feeding a poor person.”
Qur’an 2:184

Ramadan is a month of discipline, but it is also a month of mercy.

Not everyone fasts in the same way. Some travel long distances. Others carry illness, age, or burdens that make fasting harmful. Islam does not ignore these realities — it makes room for them.

This ayah reminds us that Allah’s commands are never meant to break the believer. When fasting becomes harmful or impossible, the door of ease opens: postponing the fast or feeding someone in need.

Mercy is not only in worship. It is in how worship accommodates the human condition.

Accept Allah’s ease when it applies to you.
Feed someone who needs it.
Remember that compassion is built into the law itself.

The One who prescribed the fast is also the One who made room for mercy.

WHEN MERCY REACHES OTHERS

“The Most Merciful shows mercy to those who are merciful. Show mercy to those on the earth, and the One above the heavens will show mercy to you.”
Hadith (Tirmidhi)

By the middle of Ramadan, mercy is no longer only something we ask from Allah.

It becomes something we are asked to give.

Fasting softens the heart. Hunger reminds us of the vulnerable. Worship slows the day enough for us to notice the needs of others that are often overlooked.

This teaching connects mercy received with mercy shown. The believer does not separate devotion from compassion; the two grow together.

Extend patience where irritation rises.
Offer kindness where it is unexpected.
Help quietly where you are able.

When mercy flows through us toward others, we place ourselves under the shade of Allah’s mercy.
